Java Developer for Kite Group Limited, Hong Kong

Experience: 5 to 10 yrs.

Responsibilities 

• Design, and build cutting edge distributed scientific cloud computing. transactional processing systems, and associated web applications across a diverse range of platforms
• Create unit tests and integration tests using manual and automated approaches
• Work collaboratively with the PM, QA and other developers.
• Develop software iteratively and deliver working code in iteration.
• Performance tuning and scale web applications to handle 10s of thousands of page views per day.
• Work with product and design teams to come up with the best user experience and application flow.

Required Skills (must have)

• 5 years experience in IT software development
• JAVA using a recognized MVC (e.g., Struts 2, Spring MVC, Spring WebFlow etc)
• Excellent SQL and ORM experience (e.g., Hibernate, JPA, JTA, Eclipse Link, MyBatis, EJB 3.0 etc)
• Experience building multi-language web applications
• Good knowledge and experience in J2EE, JSF, RichFaces, Seam, JSP, JBPM, Spring Roo
• Glassfish/Jobs
• JavaScript, particularly JQuery, Dojo
• Design patterns (e.g., Web Controller, SOA Service Layer, DTO, Singleton, Factory, Message Queue, Sync/Async Call etc)
• Computer Science degree
