POSITION SUMMARY:
• The Assistant Operations Manager is responsible for driving the sales and maintaining the operational standards of the brand in Malaysia.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Create a culture that maximizes sales and minimizes expenses in order to achieve profitability targets.
• Manage the sales margin as per the targets/benchmark given by the company
• Influence and create a service culture that will support the company’s customer service strategy.
• Ensure the stores are structured for service and that the stores appeal to the customers.
• Assume total responsibility for the security of all assets in the stores
• Implement and monitor strict control procedures
• Provide leads for new store locations and explore opportunities for expansion
• Liaise with mall owners/landlords and contractors for new store set up
• Ensure effective management, recruitment and development of staff to meet competence requirement.
• Implement company policies and procedures
Do you have a passion for people and processes? Then this could be the job for you.
• You must have at least 10 – 15 years fast fashion retail operations experience. Ideally someone who have grown from the ground up.
• You should be proficient in business planning and financial projections with strong knowledge of Malaysian and Asian market.
• You must be a brilliant communicator with great interpersonal skills, can deal with all types of people at all levels in the organization.
• Strong leadership skills, including effective time management, prioritizing and delegation is essential for this role. Likewise, you must be able to lead and motivate your team to maintain and attain best practice in the industry.
• Having natural creative flair and energy to introduce new concepts and innovations would also be advantageous
