HSE Advisor for UAE

Job Title : HSE Advisor (Performance) Department: HSE

Reports to : HSE Compliance Assurance Manager 

1. Job purpose & Scope: 

Section: HSEOCA Group :CEO Location: Abu Dhabi 

Develop and implement a comprenensive HSE Performance Management System in line with 
ADNOC CoPs and international standards. 

Develop processes for the interpretation and management of Corporate HSE performance in order to drive improvement in all aspects of Operational HSE. 

Systematically and periodically monitor, review, analyze and report HSE performance status against HSE objectives, plan and KPls and identify areas of concern and improvement.

Establish, monitor, and update HSE performance indicators and standards for all Company activities 

Monitor and audit the implementation of HSE performance standards and their management to ensure compliance and continual improvement. 

Plan, develop, organize and conduct presentations and HSE performance reviews to promote, implement and improve HSE performance requirements and standards. 

Develop and maintain the HSE performance reporting system and mechanisms for reporting on corporate HSE performance (monthly, quarterly, annually) ensuring validation of data quality. 

Systematically and periodically monitor, review, analyze and report on HSE performance status against HSE objectives, HSE plan and KPI status and identify areas of concern and improvement. 

Conduct periodic trending and analysis of findings from HSE inspections, safety tours, near misses, PlW audits and reported incidents to identify and recommend improvements to address the gaps. 

Maintain and further refine the process for HSE performance review to enhance and support implementation of HSEMS expectation and performance standards. 

Support BUSiness Units in KPI target setting for the annual and s-year business plans 

Maintain and update records of HSE performance data, analYSisand information on the HSE Portal and HSE Information Management System.

Provide input for the development of HSE information material: booklets, handouts, safety awareness articles and papers to be published internally and externally. 

Provide support and input on HSE performance as required.

5.Independence of Operations and Decision-making Authority: 

Works accordingto establishedHSE codes, standardsand regulations. Usesinitiativeto develop and update HSE performance management standards and HSE performance measures. Work is subject to review by HSE Operations & Compliance Team Leader. 

5. Physical Effort: 

Medium. Occasional trips to offshore sites required. 

6. Work Environment: 

Normally air-conditioned environment. Time to time exposure to prevailing weather when visiting site areas. Includes land, sea, and a'ir travel. 

7. Minimum Requirements: 

B.Sc. in disciplined engineering, professional qualification, or equivalent. 

At least 10 years of experience in the oil and gas or petrochemical industry with relevant HSE experience. 

Fluent in oral and written English with strong communication skills to effectively interact with key stakeholders. 

Strong analytical and presentation skills with accountability for delivery of high quality work.
