Automation Engineer

Qualification : BE/B.Tech

Experience : Should have 5-10  years experience in related field.

Mechanical Planning Engineer   

Qualification : Engineering Degree with minimum experience of 5 years or equivalent .Good Knowledge of in cement industry.
 
Job-Specific Skills
Local Safety regulations and procedures.
Knowledge of testing devices (vibration , oil analysis, infrared thermograph, etc)
Ability to Establish a mechanical diagnosis
Problem Solving methods and tools
Technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical maintenance operations
Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic and motor circuits
Knowledge of gearboxes, transmissions, welding techniques, lubrication, non destructive tests and general mechanics. 

Responsibilities : 
To serve as a role model in the areas of safety, leadership, teamwork, customer focus, and continuous improvement to ensure alignment with the company’s vision and critical success factors.
Ensure that any changes to the plant's equipment or design are reviewed with the concerned Engineer and other departments to ensure that any relevant regulatory requirements are identified and met.
Plan all mechanical work orders on a weekly, monthly and turnaround timeline by assigning the required parts, tools, procedures, drawings, internal and outside resources to the work.
Write a detailed scope of work for all major work, including shutdown activities
Major turnaround planning and project mapping.
Track all statistics related to the planning function and be aware of the other key Maintenance Department activities (KPI) i.e.: repeat work, P.M. compliance, machinery failure, etc...
Work closely with stores and purchasing personnel to ensure that inventory levels are maintained to a minimum without compromising plant reliability or the effective completion of mechanical tasks.
Ensure the equipment parts catalog (both in Maximo and equipment folders) reflects all plant equipment changes and obtain proper resource for future upgrades so that the catalog continues to be a reliable reference tool for the whole plant.
Assist in the development and execution of the annual mechanical budget.
Track maintenance cost regularly and project cost for all major projects and shutdowns
Responsible for the planning of all the daily and major maintenance activities of the department before they are ready for execution by assigning the required parts, tools, procedures, drawings, and outside resources to the work.
Administer Maximo system enhancements so that the system is utilized to its full potential.
Update and maintain the department files and historical data.
Ensure productivity, housekeeping and quality of work standards are maintained within the mechanical maintenance department through sound planning practices.
Closely work with the millwrights to give and receive feedback on job plans and tools for continuous improvement
Aim to achieve 98% reliability (based on plant yearly targets) on all major pieces of equipment.
Achieve personal and departmental goals
Be a backup for the Maintenance Methods Coordinator as required.

Electrical Inspector
 
Qualification : Diploma

Experience : Should have  8 years experience in relevant field – with 4-5 yrs in Preventive Maintenance in cement industry. Heavy equipment industry (steel, paper etc).

Yard Supervisor

Qualification : Diploma

Experience : Should have 5  years experience in related field.

Shift Dispatch Supervisor

Qualification : Diploma

Experience : Should have 5  years experience in related field.

Central Control Room Operator

Qualification : 
Diploma

Experience : Should have 5  years experience in cement industries.

Responsibilities :
Production
Responsible to start/stop operation of plant in accordance with standard operating procedures.
Acknowledge any alarm and limit of parameter and inform the respective Shift Coordinator  to trouble shoot and execute accordingly with the Maintenance Department
Coordinate with maintenance staff during maintenance work
Record & update with comments on  operator shift reports
Implement jobs as assigned by the Shift Coordinator
Execute & support check list with pre-start team after long shut downs
Perform shut down checklist in coordination with Shift Coordinator/Inspector during shut downs
Update on a periodic basis on the latest processes & procedures with support from the Kiln Coach (eg: LUCIE etc)
Responsible for monitoring, analyzing and taking corrective actions for smooth & continuous plant operation.
Safety
Responsible for safe operations of machinery/equipment in the Plant.
Identify & communicate clearly on potentially dangerous situations and ensure that they are correctly understood.
Maintain compliance with environmental policies/regulations. Know & prevent potential environmental spills associated with plant operations (major equipment).

Method Manager

Qualification :
Mechanical/Electrical Engineer
Technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical maintenance operations
Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic and motor circuits
Knowledge of gearboxes, transmissions, welding techniques, lubrication, non-destructive tests and general mechanics.
Local Safety rules and regulations

Responsibilities :   
Ensure that safe work rules and practices are understood, implemented and consistently followed by methods team.
With the assistance of the mechanical & electrical teams, schedule and prepare weekly mechanical and electrical maintenance programs.
Schedule and prepare major shutdowns ensuring co-ordination with all departments.
Maintain and update the preventive maintenance program and its master plan (with particular attention to inspection and lubrication programs), ensuring a quality service to implementation and completion.
Ensure the utilization of feedback from inspection as the driver for maintenance operations & develop and ensure full utilization of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems.
Contribute to minimize cost and improve performance for the Maintenance Department.
Ensure the management of individual performance, and build skill development programs for methods team and evaluate the results.
Contribute to optimizing spares parts value in warehouse in cooperation with other departments concerned.

Define the methods department needs for budgeting and capex on an annual basis
Assist & Support organization in hiring & retaining the right candidate for the vacancies that arise in the Methods Team
Responsible for staff development through : performance reviews and ongoing feedback, identifying area of improvement & strengths and thereafter building an action plan

Process Engineer
 
Qualification :
Bachelor’s degree and strong background in the cement industry with an aptitude for engineering and science (i.e. thermodynamics, fluid and airflow, mathematics, chemistry, etc.)
 
Experience : Should have 3 to 5 years onsite  operations experience as production/process engineer.
Exposure in Cement Industry is preferable 
Job-Specific Skills
Basic knowledge of drawing software in order to elaborate flow sheets
Experience in Project Management
Basic knowledge in LUCIE / Linkman
Knowledge in Chemistry,Physics & Mathematics(Fluid flow, Thermodynamics, Minerals, Organic/fuels, Computerization, Statistics)
Process knowledge of Quarry,grinding,Pyroprocess, Product Quality Control/Quality Assurance,Automation

Responsibilities :
Leading the field portion of process studies, trials, or modifications, taking measurements, making adjustments, and collecting and compiling all relevant data for the purposes of evaluation, providing conclusions and/or determination of follow-up action
Lead & Coordinate daily performance meetings with Production & Quality departments to follow up and update of performance of the main equipment
Responsible for continuous improvement of equipment performance, reliability, efficiency and effectiveness
Provide input for cost budgeting and forecasting and control of expenditures through Identifying production bottlenecks and preparing technical solutions  to overcome them in the process
Recommend & set operating parameters which will be used as SOP’s
Optimise the specific heat  & power consumptions as per Group Standard requirements
Summarise and analyse plant performance and process related issues through   “process monthly reports”
Assist & Advise the Environment Engineer in order to optimize and mitigate environmental emissions
Performs the necessary audits of all main equipment and defines corrective action
Advise the control of the efficiency of the process and process equipment
Advise Operation department the process solution that will optimise equipment & process efficiency
Maintain a close working relationship with the Technical Centre, Other Plant Process Staff for the continuous exchange of knowledge, technique & resolving of  technical issues
Set personal example with regard to group safety policy & safety standard implementation; create safety awareness by promoting and attending safety meetings
Validate the visibility of new process development
