CORE PURPOSE OF THE JOB :

To maximize the productivity, health and welfare of the Almarai Herd by the implementation of herd health programs and provision of veterinary services.

ACADEMIC :

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION :

Holding a Veterinary Doctor with Graduate degree making him eligible to work as Veterinary Surgeon in KSA;

Must have a 2 years' post graduate experience of working with large dairy herds.

NON ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION:

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE :

Experience with intensive dairy farming and environments.

COMPETENCIES :

Technical competence and in depth knowledge of all aspects of dairy cattle veterinary work; Problem solving abilities and the ability to analyze data and detect trends; Good influencing and communicating skills; Ability to communicate well and interact effectively; Ability and attitude to be able to learn quickly and become competent in areas which he is not familiar with; Ability to interact with persons from widely different nationalities and cultures; Driving License; Able to work long hours and to work off-duty hours; Computer literacy.

Assistant Staff Veterinarian (Farming)

CORE PURPOSE OF THE JOB :

To assist the staff veterinarians to maximize the production capability of the Almarai Herd by the implementation of herd health programs and the provision of veterinary services. ACADEMIC /

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION :

Holding a Veterinary or related degree with 2 years post graduate experience of working with large dairy herds.

NON ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION:

NON ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION: Must have good influencing skills and be a good communicator.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE :

Must have worked as a veterinarian with the responsibility of making diagnosis, treatment and management decisions regarding an individual animal and groups of animals.

Poultry Veterinarian (Farming)

Lab Technician - Animal Health Lab

Bachelor's Degree in Microbiology (a must)

2 years of experience in the Bacteriology section

of a reputed Veterinary / Medical diagnostic

laboratory

To record, prepare and analyses samples received in the Animal Health laboratory by observing the quality control aspects of analysis based on Company Standards and Guidelines.

1\ Receive and properly record the samples reaching the laboratory

2\ Perform basic sample processing and proper storage of samples

3\ Conducting basic bacteriological tests and bacterial counts such as TBC/TCC / LPC

4\ Carry out laboratory tests

5\ Maintain the work tables, equipment, and the laboratory in a neat and tidy condition to maintain the quality standards

Lab Technician - Analytical Chemistry Lab

Bachelor's degree in chemistry, science or related area (a must) .

2 years as Laboratory Assistant/Technician in a Chemistry /Microbiology laboratory.      

To record, dry, and grind samples received in the lab and carry out basic work in the analysis of feeds, forages, water, and soil .

1\ Weighing and grinding feeds, forages and pre - mix samples for further analysis.

2\ Maintain the work tables, equipment, and the laboratory in a neat and tidy condition to maintain the quality standards.

3\ To ensure:

- Initial data entry of arriving samples

- On time preparation of various samples

- Perform the standardization of laboratory reagents

- The analysis of ash content in feed samples

- The analysis of partial moisture and complete dry matter of feed samples

Refrigeration Maintenance
