Electrical Engineer for Libya

Qualification :

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years' experience in Construction, Installation & Commissioning Project.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering,
• Able to read and electrical drawling including but not limited to single line diagrams, electrical protection drawings, control and protection schemes
• Experience Installation and testing of power and lighting transformers , including installation of bushings , cable transnational , transformer earthling , oil sampling and testing , connection on testing all filed Instrumentation and protection installed on transformers.
• Experience in pipeline integrity and an understanding of pipeline hydrostatic, In-Line Inspection testing and/or pipeline repair methods.
• Effectively communicate and work well to resolve project needs.
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, possess strong organizational skills and demonstrate the ability to multi-task.
• Demonstrated proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel with ability to quickly learn new applications is required.
• Ability to handle difficult situations and work well with multiple instructions and directions.
• High level of energy and willingness to work as a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Flexible - ability to adapt to changing requirements and priorities.
• Ability and desire to work in the growing field of sustainable waste management, working with new and emerging technologies to offer reliable, efficient solutions for clients.
• Strong work ethic and Dependable. Working knowledge of the various Federal and State pipeline regulations including Integrity Management regulations and industry standards.
• Exceptional safety and quality awareness & attention to detail.        

Duties & Responsibility  

• Installation , assembly and connection of MV and LV electrical distribution switch-gears, including panels bolting up and connection and bus bars connection , installation and of a Curten transformers and voltage transformers , installation and testing of cable termination ,
• Full understanding of protection devices installation, connection, calibration and testing with all associated testing devices, understand various type of protection equipment for difference to electrical loads,
• Testing of electrical switch-gears including pre-commissioning and commissioning checks and filling up relevant check sheets
• Installation and testing of UPS AND Battery Chargers, including installation of batteries, connecting and testing at site.
• Provide technical expertise for development, design, and execution of capital projects in a safe, profitable, timely and efficient manner.
• Prior experience in capital projects for liquid and/or gas pipelines is required.
• Prepares specifications and procure materials and equipment for a timely and efficient execution of projects.
• Provide technical support during the review of processes and procedures to maintain consistency in assessment and rehabilitation practices.
• Engage in industry events and regular discussions with third party vendors to stay current on the latest technology, repair methods and industry movements.
• Addresses environmental issues by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed; providing information and commentary pertinent to deliberations; recommending options and courses of action; implementing directives.
• Support and comply with Quality, HSE, Company Policies and ISO management system documentations and implementations.
• Ensure compliance with client and government regulations by performing necessary inspections and reporting. Resolve all issues in a timely manner.
• Promote culture of safety by ensuring site personnel are properly trained to perform assigned duties and comply with safety, environmental, federal, state & local regulations.
• Help schedule and plan reliability, mandatory and efficiency projects for terminals and pipelines, and above ground storage tanks.
• Evaluate existing operational functions and resolve/improve these functions when necessary.
• Help mandate new requirements per corporate or safety at the field level.
