Product Engineer

Develop coding to implement project designs for new features or new browserbased systems applications, and debug

existing code Ensure team members understand the business requirements that drive the analysis and design of

quality technical solutions and that organizational standards are maintained and applications are delivered according to

project timeliness Provide expert system knowledge, perform research, attend meetings, and review documents

Provide postimplementation support, including creation of systems enhancements and instruction to production

support team Provide estimates as to the duration and cost of future projects Experience in following best Coding,

Security, Unit testing and Documentation standards and practices Experience in Agile methodology. Ensure quality of

technical and application architecture and design of systems across the organization. Effectively research and

benchmark technology against other best in class technologies.

5 years of applications development experience Understanding of telephony systems (ACD, IVR/VRU) or call center

functionality (queues, skill sets) Indepth experience with Avaya platform (WFO, AEP, POM, and Oceana) Development

experience in at least two of the following: VoiceXML, Java, JavaScript, and JSP Strong knowledge of JSON and Struts

Customer service oriented with the ability to work with both technical and businessoriented partners May need to

work overtime (evenings or weekends) based on project schedules Understanding of Management Framework,

Routing, EServices, IWD and other components within Genesys Ecosystem.

Desired Candidate Profile Red Hat Certified Architect or Equivalent

At least 10 years of experience at a relevant Technical position in large organizations with hands on automation knowledge

Linux internals (Preferable RHEL / Ubuntu)

configuration management, orchestration and IaC tools (Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform)

Virtualization Technologies (KVM / Libvirt / oVirt / KubeVirt. OVM, Openstack)

Software Defined Storage Technologies (CEPH, GlusterFS) Container Technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift)
