Bee Keeping Specialist and Birds Specialist for UAE

 Honey/ Bee Keeping Specialist

• Monitor bee/hive health and activity and record observations
• Raise bees to produce honey and/or pollinate crops
• Construct or assemble and maintain beehives using hand tools
• Force bees' evacuation from hive using smoke pot or other tools in order to harvest honey and inspect

hive

• Inspect beehives for parasites, vermin or disease and remove and repair damage
• Cultivate bees to produce bee colonies and queen bees for sale
• Prepare or package products for sale
• Determine optimal location for pollination and move beehives accordingly
• Analyze training needs assessment reports and findings of tram members
• Trains new member and existing team members on various tasks
• Develop training modules and prepare detailed training plans
• Other tasks deemed appropriate by the Manager
• Flexible to work at different locations and timings, considering the nature of work

Birds Specialist

• Oversee poultry production (meat and eggs) as per production plan
• Mentor and train employees to raise birds of good quality and in accordance with the organization’s

protocols and standards

• Ensure that designated protocols are followed for care, feeding, watering, pasturing, bedding, and

sheltering of birds

• Supervise the protocols for the humane treatment of birds
• Ensure that safe and hygienic work practices are maintained
• Confers with farm manager to ascertain production requirements and to discuss condition of

equipment and status of supplies

• Assigns workers to duties, such as collecting and candling eggs, feeding and vaccinating poultry,

crating, cleaning and fumigating chicken houses

• Analyze training needs assessment reports and findings of tram members
• Trains new member and existing team members on various tasks
• Develop training modules and prepare detailed training plans
• Directs maintenance and repair of facilities and equipment, such as chicken houses, automatic

feeders, and layer nests

• Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in raising poultry
• Provide technical advice on issues raised pertaining to poultry
• Ensures the preparation of various reports like egg production report, feed consumption report,

poultry mortality reports and employee attendance report

• Participates in work activities to expedite work load
• Performs other duties as instructed by the Manager
• Managing and motivating team members
• Other tasks deemed appropriate by the Manager

Qualifications:

• Food Safety Certificate
• FSSC
• BRC
• HACCP
