Workshop Supervisor for Jubail, Saudi Arabia

One of the established company in Saudi Arabia, Jubail with services in rotating equipment looking for a workshop supervisor who can lead and handle the repair of rotating equipment.

Responsibilities and duties

Management of workshop teams and machinery

Plan jobs and ensure timely delivery

Ensure readiness and availability of workshop tools and consumables

Ensure safety of workplace and practices

Develop procedures that eliminate waste and save time and cost

Plan training and certification for workshop team according to the need

Estimate the material and service cost for each job in order for sales team to develop the appropriate quotation

Education

• Diploma [Mechanical] or Bachelor of Technology in Engineer or Equivalent

Experience and Skills

Minimum of 10 year experience in rotating equipment repair and overhauling

Experience in overhauling of pumps, turbines, gearboxes and compressors

Experience in component repair such as shafts, casings and other metal parts

Able to direct workshop team to use machineries in repair such as lathe, milling machine and others

Ability to manufacture small repair component such as shafts, keyways and others

Have understanding of balancing of rotating equipment

Able to use machinery measurement tools such as dial gauges, micrometers, feeler gauges and other similar tools

Well-spoken English oral and written

Ability to design and prepare repair reports

Ability to meet customers and understand the needed repair.

Salary: 3000 – 5000 SAR
