    Position Required- Unit Manager / Operation Manager
    No of Vacancies - 5

    Scope and general purpose:To manage the overall financial and operational performance of his respective area of responsibility as per the guidelines given by the Sector General Managers & OED-ME.

    Responsible for:To ensure that Company and Client owned assets and equipment are maintained in good order, and that repair/replenishment costs are strictly controlled
    To ensure that highest standards of health, hygiene and safety are maintained in his operation and to liaise closely with the Companys Group Environmental Health Officer on these matters.

    HSEQ Manager
    Hr Manager

    Other Departments 
    Main duties Major responsibilities of a Operation Manager are:
    To ensure strict adherence to the scope of work detailed in the terms and conditions of the contract under his management.
    To ensure that the contract is operated within the budgetary margins established for his operation.
    To maintain constant liaison with the Client representative for his operation, and establish a good working relationship.
    To ensure that strict cost control systems are established in all departments in the operation, and that they are constantly maintained and monitored.
    To monitor ordering of all food and non-food supplies/requirements both internally on site, and from supplier.
    To ensure that storage and stock control systems are maintained up to date, and to monitor stock rotation and validity.
    To ensure that validity of all employee documentation, e.g. security passes, medical certificates, licenses, vacations where applicable, are maintained, and that timely action is taken for renewal that will not adversely affect his operation.
    To ensure employee time sheets are correctly filled in and that they are forwarded to Head Office on time each month.
    To liaise with Training Department for Staff Training.
    To conduct on-going on the job training on his operation. 
    To carry out annual evaluations of staff. Make recommendations for employee promotions, salary changes, employee of the month, disciplinary action, including termination where applicable.
    To ensure that his employees are aware of the Company policies and procedures and comply with them.
    To ensure that he himself is aware of the contents of the UAE Labour Law, and its stipulations regarding disciplinary action in particular.
    To ensure that leave schedules are maintained, and that requests for relievers are submitted to Sector General Manager or OED-ME at least two months in advance.
    To ensure strict confidentiality of all Company financial information regardless of its nature.
    He is fully responsible and accountable for HSE Policy and Procedures, which are in place.
    To conform to the Companys guidelines related to his area as detailed in the Companys Quality Assurance Program developed on the basis of ISO 9001:2000 Q.M.S.
    Irregular duties
    To attend meetings and training courses as required.
    Included in these duties, you are required to perform any other reasonable tasks requested by the General manager.

    Educational qualifications 
    A degree or technical qualification in Catering Management from a reputable institution/ Graduate/ High school Diploma.

    Professional experience Minimum of 7 years proven experience in Hospitality or Industrial Catering with at least 3 years experience in a Middle Management position.
    The candidate must have food service experience in hospital contracts and All applicants should be flexible to move as these openings are for both UAE and Saudi business.
