Mechanical Engineer & Planning Engineer (Gabon)

Mechanical Engineer

Experience: 10 to 20 yrs.


Position overview:
The selected candidate will supervise and monitor site mechanicalactivities and primarilyresponsible for;

o Installation and commissioning of High speed rotary equipments
o supervision and monitoring for smooth and timely completion of site mechanicalactivities,
o review of mechanical engineering documents for compliance with international standards and site requirements
o monitoring adherence to specified technical and quality requirements in mechanical construction activities,
o monitoring adherence to specified safety and environment norms during mechanicalconstruction activities
o execution of mechanical maintenance activities with minimum downtime and optimizing resources (man & money) for the assigned areas, meeting safety and environment norms, during plant operation stage

Qualification / Experience required for the position:
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering with about 10-15 years of relevant experience
Projectexperience in installation of High speed rotary equipments , high Pressure boilers and heavy static equipments - in large size process plants, preferably in Ammonia Urea fertilizer plants of large capacity or Petrochemical Plants/Refineries of similar size & complexity
5 years of experience workingin Mechanical maintenance in large size process plant
Preferably, experience in sub Saharan Africa or similar geographical locations
Exposure to management information systems and Enterprise Resource Planning applications
Open to candidates of any Nationality

Planning Engineer

Experience: 10 to 20 yrs.


Position overview:
The selected candidate will monitor and control site planning activities and will be primarily responsible for;
o Preparation, review and monitoring of planning activities at site including project schedules, budget and cost,
o preparation and monitoring of project progress measurement,
o monitoring of budgets to achieve targets,
o monitor utilization of budget expenses and prepare accurate and appropriate budget provisions,
o cost monitoring and control,
o MIS reporting,
o adherence to HSE norms and guidelines


Qualification / Experience required for the position: 
Bachelors degree in Engineering and certified course in Project Management, with about 510 years of relevant experience
Experience in project and maintenance planning in large size process plants, preferably in Ammonia Urea fertilizer plants of large capacity or Petrochemical Plants/Refineries of similar size & complexity
5 years of experience working-in Planning function in large size process plant
Preferably, experience in sub Saharan Africa or similar geographical locations
Hands on working experience in planning tools like Primavera, MS Project, etc.
Exposure to management information systems and Enterprise Resource Planning applications
Open to candidates of any Nationality

Additional Skills / Expertise required for the position: 
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English language are essential
Working knowledge of French language is highly desirable
Demonstrated Leadership, Team player qualities & self-motivated
Exceptional Interpersonal skills
Very effective Time management practices
