Mechanical Design Engineer for Kuwait

Experience: 8 to 13 yrs.  | Salary: U.S Dollars 60,000 - 75,000 P.A

Position : Mechanical Design Engineer Rotating Equipment 

Location : Kuwait 

Job Description: 

• Responsible for reviewing / checking / approval of engineering drawings and design documents submitted by the Venders / Contractors.
• Carryout detailed Engineering of rotating equipments such as Pumps, Compressors, Diesel Engines etc. in Refinery, Product loading facilities and Depots.
• Carryout Equipment selection, specification, sizing and its auxiliary systems for oil and gas services.
• Provide project management support to Oil & Gas projects throughout all phasessof the project, including conceptualization, FEED, procurement, site installation, construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning to ensure project completion with due quality within budget and timely manner.

Qualification and Experience: 

• Bachelor Degree in mechanical Engineering from recognized University.
• Minimum 8 years Oil & Gas experience in the design of Rotating Equipment and machinery including preparing specifications and specifying material related to refining installations.
• Good work knowledge based on previous experience in current codes, standards such as API, ASME and accepted to Rotary Equipment Engineering in the Oil & Gas and petrochemical Industries.
• Knowledge of Shell DEP an added advantage.
