Job Description:
Responsible for the effective procurement, implementation, management and monitoring of landscape services across Oman. To ensure that the delivery of landscape services is in line with agreed specifications. To provide and present regular management reports and conduct regular performance review meetings with suppliers.
Preparing document for the projects.
Preparation of Costing and cost variation reports for the project.
Preparation of Management reports and manuals for the Operations & Maintenance department.
Good rapport with the Clients and negotiating with the suppliers.
Planning the project, conducting the operation & maintenance works.
Conducting market research of new technologies in agriculture.
Supervise plantation and fertilizers application. , Plan, organize, direct, co-ordinate, control and manage all operations of landscaping division
Develop plot irrigation schedules to meet the requirements of the research program.
Implement landscape projects and coordinate in preparing the required drawings.
Supervise the plantation process for the experimental crops.
Supervise the field workers.
Project management of landscape works and irrigation system
Establishing the character of sites of natural beauty
Establishing general landscape requirement with clients
Conducting preliminary studies of site including soil, ecology ,building and road
Presenting proposal to client dealing with inquiries
Matching client wishes with my knowledge of what will work best
Generating new business opportunities.
Ability to easily and quickly determine the kind of tools and equipment needed to do a job
Conduct site inspection, including determining if project are in compliance with laws, regulation and ordinances, make recommendation on change
Daily meeting regarding safety measures with gardeners, irrigation supervisor and pesticide foreman
Planning with gardeners about day work schedule
Soil salinity and maintain a database. Monitor the climate, soil water content
Overseeing the design of a variety of projects, including urban regeneration schemes, pedestrian schemes, road or retail schemes.
Suggestion in developing suitable irrigation techniques.
Support the recruitment process.
