Site Engineer



1. Project Planning and Coordination

  • Site Preparation: Oversee initial site activities, including surveying, site leveling, excavation, and preparation for foundation works.
  • Work Schedule Planning: Assist the Project Manager in creating a detailed construction schedule, including timelines for civil and structural activities. Coordinate with other teams (MEP, architectural) to ensure seamless workflow.
  • Resource Allocation: Plan the manpower, materials, and equipment needed for site activities. Communicate requirements to the procurement and logistics teams.

2. Construction Supervision

  • Execution of Civil Works: Supervise the day-to-day execution of all civil works, including:
    • Foundation Work: Piling, mat foundation, and footing installation.
    • Structural Elements: Formwork, reinforcement, concrete pouring, and post-tensioning for columns, beams, and slabs.
    • Masonry and Finishing: Blockwork, plastering, tiling, and waterproofing activities.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all construction activities are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and industry standards. Conduct on-site checks for proper material usage and adherence to quality requirements.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure that all site activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Work closely with the HSE team to enforce safety measures and prevent accidents.

3. Inspection and Testing

  • On-Site Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of ongoing civil works to verify that construction aligns with project drawings and standards. Highlight discrepancies and initiate corrective actions if needed.
  • Material Testing: Coordinate with the QA/QC Engineer to conduct tests on construction materials (e.g., concrete, steel, soil) and ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Structural Integrity Checks: Oversee key tests and inspections like rebar checks, concrete slump tests, and cube tests to ensure structural quality.

4. Technical Support and Problem Solving

  • Technical Guidance: Provide technical direction to site supervisors and labor teams. Clarify design details and construction methodologies.
  • Issue Resolution: Identify on-site problems such as design clashes, delays, or quality issues. Collaborate with the design team and consultants to resolve conflicts quickly.
  • Documentation: Maintain daily progress reports, site diaries, and records of work completed, delays, and issues faced. Communicate updates to the Project Manager regularly.

5. Coordination with Stakeholders

  • Liaise with Consultants and Architects: Attend site meetings with architects, consultants, and the client to discuss progress, design changes, and issues requiring resolution.
  • Interface with Subcontractors: Manage subcontractors on-site, ensuring their work aligns with project standards and timelines.
  • Client Communication: Support the Project Manager in client interactions, providing updates on civil work progress and addressing any client concerns.

6. Ensuring Compliance and Standards

  • Adherence to Standards: Ensure all construction activities comply with local building codes, industry standards (ACI, ASTM, BS), and project specifications.
  • Regulatory Inspections: Coordinate with regulatory bodies for inspections and approvals (e.g., structural, safety, and occupancy certifications).

7. Cost Control and Budgeting

  • Monitor Expenses: Track material usage and on-site expenses, ensuring efficient use of resources. Highlight cost overruns and suggest corrective actions to the Project Manager.
  • Change Orders: Identify and document any scope changes or variations, coordinating with the commercial team for approval and budget adjustments.

8. Finishing and Handover

  • Final Inspections: Oversee final finishing activities, ensuring high-quality workmanship for aesthetic elements like plastering, painting, tiling, and faade works.
  • Handover Preparation: Compile as-built drawings, project documentation, and inspection reports required for the final handover to the client.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in construction software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, MS Project).
  • Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, building codes, and standards.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in high-rise or mixed-use projects, with the ability to handle fast-paced environments.



QA/QC Engineer




1. Quality Assurance (QA)

  • Develop Quality Plans: Prepare the Project Quality Plan (PQP), Quality Control Procedures (QCP), Inspection and Test Plans (ITP), and Method Statements for various civil works in compliance with project specifications.
  • Material Approval: Review and approve construction materials, ensuring they conform to project specifications, codes, and standards. Coordinate with procurement to ensure quality materials are sourced.
  • Vendor and Subcontractor Evaluation: Conduct prequalification assessments and audits of suppliers and subcontractors to verify their capability and compliance with quality requirements.
  • Documentation Control: Maintain all QA documents, including calibration records, test results, inspection reports, and quality certificates. Ensure proper documentation in line with ISO 9001 or relevant quality management systems.

2. Quality Control (QC)

  • Site Inspection: Perform regular site inspections for all civil and structural works such as excavation, concrete works, rebar installation, formwork, masonry, and finishing. Verify that work is executed as per approved drawings and specifications.
  • Testing and Sampling: Oversee the testing of construction materials (e.g., concrete, steel, soil, asphalt) as per the projects test plan. Witness on-site and off-site tests (e.g., slump test, compression test) and analyze results for compliance.
  • Non-Conformance Management: Identify, document, and report non-conformances (NCRs) or deviations from the project specifications. Collaborate with the site team to implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Quality Audits: Conduct internal audits and site walkthroughs to ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements. Follow up on audit findings and ensure proper closure.

3. Coordination and Communication

  • Interface with Stakeholders: Liaise with consultants, clients, project managers, and site teams to address quality-related issues. Attend project meetings and provide updates on quality matters.
  • Training and Support: Provide training to site staff and subcontractors on quality procedures, standards, and best practices in construction.
  • Quality Reporting: Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports, highlighting key quality metrics, inspection results, NCRs, and corrective actions taken.

4. Compliance and Safety

  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all construction activities comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
  • Safety Integration: Work closely with the Safety Officer to ensure quality and safety measures are aligned, particularly during critical activities like concrete pouring and structural assembly.

5. Continuous Improvement

  • Identify Improvement Areas: Monitor quality trends and suggest areas for improvement based on data analysis and project feedback.
  • Implement Best Practices: Introduce industry best practices to enhance construction quality and minimize defects or rework.

Skills Required:

  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and testing standards (e.g., ASTM, BS, ACI).
  • Proficiency in quality management software and tools (e.g., BIM 360, Procore, MS Excel).
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Certification in Quality Management (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma) is an advantage.



Planning Engineer



Successfully execute high-rise construction projects by ensuring all activities are planned, monitored, and adjusted to meet project deadlines and objectives. Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and consultants to develop a comprehensive project schedule and track progress, identify delays, and proactively implement corrective measures.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Planning and Scheduling:
    • Develop and manage the master project schedule, detailing project milestones, timelines, and resource allocation.
    • Use planning software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) to create detailed schedules for high-rise projects, incorporating all phases from design and pre-construction to project closeout.
    • Plan and sequence project activities, ensuring efficient use of labor, equipment, and materials to meet project deadlines.
  2. Coordination and Communication:
    • Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, and contractors to gather input on timelines and ensure schedules are achievable.
    • Communicate schedule updates to all stakeholders, including clients and contractors, to ensure alignment on project timelines and requirements.
    • Facilitate planning meetings to review schedule progress and address potential bottlenecks.
  3. Monitoring and Progress Tracking:

Candidate Profile

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

Quantity Surveyor


Quantity Survey Manager




Manage all costs related to high-rise construction projects, from initial calculations to final project costs. Minimize project expenses, enhance value for money, and achieve project quality and compliance standards within the approved budget. Collaborate closely with clients, project managers, architects, and contractors to ensure effective project management and cost control.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Cost Estimation and Budgeting:
    • Prepare accurate cost estimates and project budgets for high-rise projects.
    • Conduct feasibility studies to estimate materials, time, and labor costs.
    • Develop cost plans and prepare cash flow forecasts, ensuring projects remain within budget.
  2. Contract and Tender Management:
    • Draft, negotiate, and manage contracts for high-rise construction works, ensuring compliance with UAE legal standards.
    • Prepare tender documents, evaluate contractor bids, and make recommendations based on cost-effectiveness and compliance.

  7. Risk Management
