The Sales and Distribution Manger will be responsible for effective strategic planning and expansion of Tanpack Tissues Ltd Sales and Distribution Function. As a Senior Manager, the candidate will be responsible for developing strategies to infiltrate all areas of the Tanzanian market, improving distribution and sales on high margin products.
The company owners, Chandaria Industries Limited of Kenya, and the General Manager have identified opportunities in the market place to grow the established brands -Velvex and Rexa Tissue and Hygiene Products.
The candidate and his team are organised and structured, Team work is very important at Tanpack Tissues Ltd. Senior Managers mentor their staff to achieve greater things and he will need to work together to achieve the company objectives.
Key Responsibilities will also:
-Develop own Key Account customers, offering high volume opportunities across all sectors.
-Identify Premium and Mass product category opportunities.
-Manage the customer data base, ensuring follow up and effective new product penetration.
-Manage and coordinate customer pricing deals, price offs, seasonal promotions and discounts.
-Build key brands and create awareness.
-Set weekly, monthly and yearly deliverables against Headline Objectives and regularly report on progress.
-To provide annual strategic plans and reports to the General Manager and Directors.
-Ensure sales teams are mobile through efficient fleet management and on time delivery.
-Ensure professional service cycle from order to delivery to payment collection.
-Delegating effectively to ensure Headline Objectives are reached as a team.
Salary: USD 2000 -USD 2500 + Furnished house, water, electricity, telephone, medicals and education allowance of $2,000.00 per annum for two children under 18 years of age. Return air fare every two years Mum/Dar/Mum for self, spouse and two children under the age of 18 yrs. Plus Annual Bonus based on KPIS.
