Interview Schedule for Electrical Technician and Instrument Technician in Kentech International LTD, Qatar

Electrical Technician

Experience: 5 to 7 yrs.  |  Opening(s): 35

Will be required to act as Electrical  Technician at Gas Plant Project in Qatar.  Min total exp 5 years, including 2 year in the Gulf in similar job.

• Must have more than 6 years experience in the Oil and Gas or Power Generation industries,
• with a minimum of 2 years as an Electrical Maintenance Technician.
• Educational qualifications: ONC or equal in a relevant discipline or standard based
• qualification (NVQ level 2) or a minimum of 3 year Electrical Engineering Diploma education
• (DAE, AMIA or equivalent). nb. May be required to undertake Competency Based test
• witnessed by the COMPANY Discipline Engineer.
• Must have a fairly good knowledge of various process equipments
• Must be able to read, write and speak English Language to IELTS 5 Equivalent
• Must have a good understanding of QA/QC and HSE compliance audits.
• Must be able to understand job tasks and take verbal or written instruction.
• Shall be conversant with working on hazardous area equipment.
• Must have sound knowledge of (IEC based) Area Classification, Ex standards, and Ex
• Equipment (Basefa or ComEx certified)
• Must have 2 years of experience in Electrical fault finding tasks.
• Shall be able to use test equipment and have knowledge of fault finding.
• Must have knowledge of terminating cables and requirements for cable glanding, laying and
• jointing such cables.
• Can read and understand general electrical drawings.
• Must be competent to isolate LV drive.
• Must be able to report close out activities & capture work history in CMMS.
• Must be capable to become CEP within 6 months

Salary QR 2500 p.m fixed+ free food, single status accommodation, medical & transportation at site.

Diploma (Electrical)  / I.T.I (Electrical) with over 5 yrs exp as Electrical Technician. Minimum 2 years exp must be in  Maintenance work at Oil & Gas/Petrochem site etc.

Instrument Technician

Experience: 5 to 7 yrs.  |  Opening(s): 55

Will be required to act as Instrument  Technician at Gas Plant Project in Qatar.  Min total exp 5 years, including 2 year in the Gulf in similar job.

• Must have more than 6 years experience in the Oil and Gas or Power Generation industries,
• minimum of 2 years as an Instrument Maintenance Technician.
• DIPLOMA / I.T.I (INSTRUMENTATION) 

  

Salary QR 2500 p.m fixed+ free food, single status accommodation, medical & transportation at site.

Diploma (Instrument)  with over 5 yrs exp as Instrument Technician. Minimum 2 years exp must be in  Maintenance work at Oil & Gas/Petrochem site etc.

Age 26 to 38. Good English, Health.
