Forever 21 is seeking an innovative, energetic, and passionate team player to add to our dynamic team in Malaysia.

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Reports to: Regional Finance Manager

JOB SUMMARY & PURPOSE 

• Ensure correct reporting of financial MIS
• Ensure adequate liquidity to meet the organizational needs
• Ensure all expense booking are scrutinized and controls followed
• Ensure all financial operations are carried out on a timely and accurate basis including store cash accounting, petty cash reimbursements, non trade payments, etc
• Ensure all lease requirements are met including insurance, rent payment, sales audits, Fixed asset maintenance
• Ensure receivable accounting and follow-ups
• Statutory audit

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS & PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Timely submission of MIS
• Cash accounting with maximum of 2 days delay
• Manage cashflow and ensure liquidity available for all payments
• Cost reductions by scrutiny and control over expenses and vouchers
• Budget preparation
• Ensure all revenue leakages are plugged
• Conduct statutory audit
• Ensure internal audit compliance

Qualifications and Skills: 
• Degree in Accountancy, CA or CPA preferred but not essential
• At least 7 years’ experience in Finance & Accounts in a fast-paced environment 
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills 
• Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills for detailed reporting and analysis 
• Excellent interpersonal skills – to deal with internal and external contacts
• Good organizational skills and ability to work and implement processes
• Must understand the importance of confidentiality
• Must have good attention to detail, as well as organizing and problem solving skills
