Mall Manager for Dubai

Salary: $9001 - $10000

This role will report directly to the Chief Property Officer and responsible for the full management of the MALL, to include being accountable for efficient operation and delivery of services consisting of Operations Marketing, Leasing, Managing Manpower, Maintenance, Security and implementation of Best Practice and Operation standards as well as a comprehensive understanding of government regulations, operation methods and the need to increase profitability and keep the cost of common areas under control.

The position will be based on-site and include 2 direct reports.

Key Accountabilities:

- Manage all leasing activities for both residential and commercial including attracting new tenants, vetting prospective clients, rental negotiations, the development of attractive leasing packages, setting out leasing targets with relevant time frames maximising the asset value of the property
- To set up the yearly Property & Facility Operations, Strategies and Budgets for the assigned property
- To coordinate and supervise, when necessary, repairs, renovations, major woks and all related consultants, contractors and suppliers to ensure that all FF&E's are effectively and efficiently maintained by the maintenance company.
- Responsible implementing procedures related to any crisis and emergency in conjunction with Civil Defence & Police ensuring safety environment for all tenants, visitors and contractors
- Handling complaints and demands of tenants and working to remove the causes of the complaint and respond to their requests within the legal and contractual obligations
- To prepare the yearly Marketing & Promotion programs
- Co-ordination with local authorities, ie the Police, Civil Defence and Dubai Municipality & City Management for site wide requirements
- Implementing expected service standards offered with the objective of superior guest/client experience


Degree Qualified - any discipline
- Bilingual Skills - preferable English & Arabic speaking
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar or comparable assignment, preferably in Mall management and leasing
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills - attention in detail
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Develop financial plans, analyse and interpret financial data. Knowledge of public relation principles and practices
- Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Skill and experience in 'change-management' and examining and re-engineering operations and procedures
