The role demands a SAP Support Manager with in FMCG Company, who will be accountable for:
Overall custodian of the SAP software and hardware
Overall understanding of major modules of SAP ECC R3
Providing end user support and responding to Incidents raised
Diagnosing, analyzing and resolving issues efficiently
Maintain the integrity of the SAP environment by managing the SAP Correction and Transport System (CTS) to ensure all configuration and development objects are promoted properly.
Plans, recommends and monitors SAP Administration (Basis), Unix OS and Oracle database by CGI or SLSMC
Ensures effective security, operation and peak performance of SAP environments.
Monitors and manages performance issues as per the guidelines of the Corporate Policies, Corporate Directives and Collective Agreements.
Identifying and designing any system enhancements required in response to incidents raised
Writing functional specs and interacts with ABAPer to develop user issue resolutions
Training end users and preparing end user training material in support of incident resolutions
Establishes and manages the SAP Support cost centre team budgets, delegating specific budgeting responsibilities to team members where appropriate.
Filtering support calls between internal and external support functions (for Cloud based applications)
Providing functional 'How do I?' assistance to users
Ensuring reports are produced and are available

The role requires an individual who has solid SAP functional support experience combined with excellent communication and influencing skills. Extensive experience of working with a geographically spread user base is a must for this role;
Minimum of 7-10 years of experience
B Tech / BSc from reputed Institute
Strong ERP support skills, ideally developed through solid experience;
Technically proficient in SAP, desired is a broad exposure to the modules being implemented (FICO, PS, PY, SC, SRM, Ariba, SuccessFactors);
Experience of working cross-culturally and cross -functionally, and ability to adapt personal style to different environments;
Ability to define and implement new processes and ways of working, and manage the change process to embed them into the organization;
Experience of working with third party vendors
The successful candidate should have worked on a minimum of two lifecycle SAP implementations which ideally will include multi-module greenfield deliveries. Experience of working in a fast paced environment with demanding deadlines and a desire to deliver to milestones would be a distinct advantage.
