JOB PURPOSE/ SUMMARY:
The position of SAP ERP Manager implements, designs and maintains ERPs system performance by undertaking system implementation, monitoring and analysis and performance tuning and troubleshooting. Responsible for assessing available technologies and presents architecture designs in order to implement, develop and improve system efficiency, usability and effectiveness in support of core business functions (General Financials, Payroll, Human Resources, Supply Chain and Accounts Payable, Enterprise performance, and BI).
Lead and assist strategic and tactical solutions design, development, maintenance and enhancements of the technical components of the ERP environment. Acts as an internal consultant providing technical guidance to realize industry best practices and long-term economic viability with a focus on clinical and service excellence. The position has responsibility for managing up to five full time equivalent staff (FTEs).
JOB SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Implement SAP ERP in a greenfield healthcare environment with components that spread across the business
Lead the team to collect accurate business requirements and implement them in the system effectively
Coaches the team and the business users of the application to increase adoption and utilization of the ERP
Manage the Vendor implementing SAP and minimize change to the project scope
Ensure that the ERP is integrated with the other application for optimal business operations (EMR, Pharmacy, consumables etc.)
Lead the implementation of software modules/applications within the ERP and analyze interfaces between applications in order to ensure maximum efficiency is achieved from the IT systems
Ensure Service Level Agreement is consistently met

Provide on-going support by monitoring the software applications, also recommend new initiatives on software improvements in order to achieve continuous efficiency in operations
Participate actively in disaster recovery management and business continuity tests for critical classified software applications to ensure the daily operations is not interrupted due to system failures
Maintain on-going relationship with suppliers/vendors and conduct a cost-benefit analysis on all IT related projects in order to ensure maximum return on IT investment
Prepare and record important documents in relations to sourcing, tendering and purchasing processes so as to ensure consistency of information across the department
Provide training and guidance to subordinates as well as end users in order to ensure IT applications are well utilized at its optimum capacity
Provide leadership to resolve technical errors or breakdown and provide valid solutions and recommendation so as to ensure all business operations runs smoothly
Ensure privacy and security are protected with policy development and security mechanism.
Comply to all policies and procedures in IT applications to ensure consistency in workflow across the organization for higher efficiency
Provide technical leadership regarding systems configuration management, troubleshooting and systems management methodologies and practices
Perform complex ERP administration tasks as per agreed ERP best practices
Adhere to processes and control adopted by the team (Change Management, Audit, etc.).
