Electrical Supervisor for Oman

Role of the job
Support Instrument maintenance team in day-to-day activities required.
Efficient and effective implementation of PM, CM, Emergency shutdown and Turn Around activities of the organization.
Possess awareness of HSE rules and regulations.
Enhance of working practice to improve performance and reduce maintenance costs.
Work to improve asset reliability and availability by imparting quality PM programs.
Maintain IMS, HSE, INSURANCE and AUDIT related documentation and submission of requirement management reports.
Solutions for asset issues with support of team leaders and development and implementation for reliability improvement programs.
Cross functional co-ordination among Maintenance, Technical Service and Operation.
Should possess excellent troubleshooting skills.
Should be ready to work in shifts

Qualifications
Diploma in Electrical Engineering with supervisory competency license from State Electricity Board

Experience
Minimum 08 years field experience in Oil & Gas, refining, Petrochemical, fertilizers, cement, steel industry, which shall include minimum 3 years in maintenance function.

Technical skills
Maintenance of all types of switchgears 132 KV, 33 KV, 6.6 Kv, 415 V etc 
Testing and operating knowledge of numerical protection relays GE, Siemens, ABB, 
Mitsubishi and other control system.
Knowledge about hazardous areas and the requirements.
Hands on experience on Power Transformers of size more than 50 MVA, UPS, Battery Chargers, Motors of sizes more than 5 MW, LV motors, communication system, Wireless system, elevators, EOT cranes, ESP, Generators, AVRs, VFDs, Cathodic Protection system, capacitor banks, cables etc.
Experience in Turnarounds activities related to support services as well as electrical equipment maintenance.
Strong grasp of Quality and Safety standards and procedures, Electrical Safety systems standards LOTO etc.
Knowledge of MS office applications is essential.
Experience on SAP/ in Tools / AutoCAD is an additional advantage
