Control Room Operator

• Diploma / with a minimum of 2 years of control room based experience or advanced scientific/technical training is required.
• Adhere to plant operational procedures for production goal achievement and handle work safely.
• Input operational system status with applicable journals and control system tools.
• Function as plant operation to calibrate and troubleshoot automation, and power systems.
• Gain awareness of system operating requirements and trends and suggest operating adjustment suggestions.
• Manage electrical and mechanical equipment and facilities with the competency of a plant operator.
• Conduct emergency operations for electric service and protecting station equipment.
• Reply to production floor requests and machine stoppage alerts.
• Assess machine logs and support Process Engineer to troubleshoot.
• Handle equipment maintenance and tagout as per standard operating procedures.
• Ensure timeliness, completeness and administrative requirements accuracy

Metallurgy Lab Technician

• Degree / Diploma (Material Science / Metallurgy), with min 2 years of laboratory based experience .
• Prepares samples for analysis/examination and carries out a diversified range of complex metallurgical services. Has thorough knowledge of specific testing area and can complete all testing with no supervision. 
• Perform various mechanical tests on specialized equipment, such as hardness testing, tension, tensile, resistivity, etc. 
• Perform various metallographic and magnet tests using etchants, polishing equipment and specialized metallographic equipment. Collect and record test data obtained during the evaluation. 
• Makes recommendation to supervision based on recorded test data. 
• Responsible for tasks related to directing, training and coordinating the day-to-day activities of the Met Lab within the specific testing area. 
• Develop knowledge of testing procedures in other areas and may be able to complete testing in these areas. 
• Create LIMS (Lab Information System) tickets that accurately provide the correct work flows and required test parameters for all test specimens in the Met Lab. 
• Performs all other duties and special projects as assigned

Metallurgical Engineer

• Degree (Metallurgy / Material Engineering) with min. 3+ years of experience.
• Direct supervision on furnace charging operations and chemical additives required.
• Work closely with the Furnace operator to ensure daily production meet all requirements and process are optimized.
• Direct supervision of the analytical lab. 
• Assess the physical structure and behavior of metals.
• Investigate incidences where it is suspected that the cause may be related to metallurgical failure.
• Produce reports on research and tests carried out.
• Be a leader of change in continuously pursuing internal and external opportunities for improvement with a focus on reducing process variation through the collection and analysis of data, identification of the root cause of variation, and development of effective corrective actions.
• Work closely with the rest of the Engineering community in establishing processes that meet the metallurgical requirements of product and improve productivity throughout the manufacturing processes.
• Conduct or supervise tests on raw materials or finished products to ensure their quality.
• Replicate the characteristics of materials and their components with computers.
• Supervise the work of technologists, technicians, and other engineers.
• Physical inspection of castings.
• Coordinate material characterisation with outside laboratories
