Maintenance Manager for Godrej & Khimji in Sohar, Oman

Job location - Godrej & Khimji, Sohar , Oman


Responsibilities - 
• Continue to develop maintenance procedures and ensure implementation
• Carry out inspections of the various facilities to identify and resolve issues
• Check electrical and electronics, mechanical and hydraulic systems of the entire plant to ensure functionality
• Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities
• Allocate workload and supervise maintenance staff (supervisor, electricians and other related personnel)
• Monitor equipment inventory of critical parts and place orders, when necessary
• Monitor expenses and control the budget for maintenance
• Manage relationships with contractors, suppliers and service providers
• Keep maintenance logs and report about daily activities
• Ensure health and safety policies are compliant with standards & procedures
• Taking full responsibility of maintenance department and activities. Supervising,monitoring and assisting maintenance supervisor, shift electricians and other related personnel. 
• Repair and maintain cut-to-length shearing and slitting line, turret punching machines, automatic bending machine, CNC hydraulic press brake machines, machine tool controls like Fanuc 180i, Cybelec DNC, etc., power presses and spot welding machines 
• Carry out repairs and maintenance of electrical, electronics, mechanical, electro-hydro-pneumatic equipments .
• Maintenance of utility equipments, powder coating booth, paint line, compressors, diesel & electric fork lift trucks and electrical sub-station with all electrical installations.
Requirements -

• Proven experience in the role of maintenance manager 
• Experience in planning maintenance operations
• Solid understanding of technical aspects of electrical, electronics,mechanical and electro-hydro-pneumatic systems, plumbing, carpentry, etc.
• Working knowledge of machines and equipments
• Ability to keep track and to report on activities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
• Degree from a recognized university 
• Experience in working with computerized maintenance management will be an added advantage"
• Age below 40

Qualification
• Essential Graduate or Diploma in Electrical & Electronics.
• Preferred Graduate in Electrical & Electronics.

Experience


• Essential Around 10 to 15 years in industrial maintenance, electrical distribution and electronics (CNC, PLC, VFD, etc)

Skills

• Essential Hands on working & trouble shooting of all electrical , mechanical and electro hydro pneumatic problems. 
• Must be a team leader and a team player
