HSE Manager for Hindustan Construction Company Ltd., Bhutan

Roles and Responsibilities

  1. Develop site specific HSE Plans and programs based on Risk & regulatory requirement.
  2. Construction staging including detailing the intersection layout and capacities for each and every construction stage; Identify all tasks and procedures associated with the work project or activity that have potential to cause injury or illness to personnel and damage to property or material.
  3. Include emergency evacuation procedures, Emergency and Incident Response Plans.
  4. Develop site specific HSE Plans and programs based on Risk & regulatory requirement.
  5. Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment and job safety analysis.
  6. Conduct Safety Audit and reviews by Internal team & by External teams
  7. Accident & Incident Analysis and planning for corrective action.
  8. Implemented works permit system
  9. Maintain safety standards on site as per the approved safety plan by the client
  10. Provide Training and support to Site and Construction Managers to proactively address safety, environmental and health risks and concerns, including recommendations on how to address employees upon observation of unsafe behaviors or other safety-relevant observations on constructions sites.
  11. Identify need based training requirements, develop and implement training plan to improve safety consciousness among employees.
  12. Ensure conductance of safety committee meetings and monitor the implementation of suggestions.
  13. Emergency Preparedness to safeguard against possible emergencies/ hazards. Develop Emergency management system.
  14. Accident Investigation and Remedial measures for eliminate weak links in safety and to use it for learning and improvements.
