SENIOR MECHANICAL ENGINEER
Role & responsibilities
- Design: Use computer-aided design (CAD) to design and redesign mechanical devices and systems
- Develop: Develop specifications for manufacturing, including materials, equipment, and layout
- Test: Test prototypes and analyze the results to improve the design
- Maintain: Oversee the maintenance of mechanical equipment and plant buildings
- Inspect: Inspect plants to ensure they are performing optimally
- Analyze: Analyze problems to determine how mechanical devices can help solve them
- Manage: Manage projects, costs, and people
- Provide technical advice: Provide technical advice and write reports and documentation
- Ensure safety: Assess the safety of mechanical equipment and machinery
- Establish standards: Establish standards and policies for installation, quality control, testing, and maintenance
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
- Mechanical Engineering Graduate (BE/B.Tech/B.Sc),
- With a minimum of 10 years,
- At least 10 Year experience in the Operation of a Combined cycle large Power plant.
- Preference will be given for experience in Siemens Gas Turbine SGT5-4000F (V94.3) & Siemens Steam turbine.
- 5 years must have been in supervisory positions and a minimum of 2 years as a maintenance engineer.
MECHANICAL ENGINEER
Role & Responsibilities :
Mechanical engineers are routinely responsible for the integration of sensors, controllers, and machinery.
Computer technology helps mechanical engineers create and analyze designs, run simulations and test how a machine is likely to work, interact with connected systems, and generate specifications for parts.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Mechanical Engineering Graduate (BE/B.Tech/B.Sc),
- With a minimum of 7 years,
- At least 7 Year experience in the Operation of a Combined cycle large Power plant. Preference will be given for experience in Siemens Gas Turbine SGT5-4000F (V94.3) & Siemens Steam turbine.
- 3 years must have been in supervisory positions and a minimum of 2 years as a maintenance engineer.
HVAC ENGINEER
Role & responsibilities
- Design: Interpret blueprints and plans, calculate heating and cooling loads, and determine airflow requirements
- Installation: Plan the placement of ducts, pipework, and control panels, and install HVAC components
- Maintenance: Perform quality checks, carry out maintenance, and find and fix faults
- Safety: Ensure systems are working safely and efficiently, and apply HVAC safety principles in the development of systems and components
- Energy use: Help customers reduce their energy use
- Communication: Coordinate projects and communicate with customers
- Time management: Ensure projects meet deadlines and remain on budget
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Mechanical Engineering Graduate (BE/B.Tech/B.Sc), from a recognized University.
- At least 7 Year experience in the Operation of a Combined cycle large Power plant.
- Preference will be given for experience in Siemens Gas Turbine SGT5-4000F (V94.3) & Siemens Steam turbine.
- Must have 10 years' experience in HVAC - large projects (especially power)
HVAC SUPERVISOR
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintenance: Inspecting and supervising the maintenance and repair of HVAC equipment
- Scheduling: Scheduling work orders, mechanical projects, and preventative maintenance
- Staffing: Hiring, training, and disciplining staff
- Record keeping: Maintaining records of work orders, inventory, and expenditures
- Equipment: Estimating and ordering equipment and supplies, and determining the appropriate HVAC equipment
- Design: Designing air flow control systems and modifications to existing systems
- Quality assurance: Reviewing the work of contractors to ensure quality and adherence to plans and specifications
- Reporting: Preparing reports, including energy management reports and budget operating funds
- Training: Training employees on maintenance and repair procedures and standard safety practices
- Coordination: Coordinating work with other trades as needed
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Must have experience in the Operation of a Combined cycle large Power plant. Preference will be given for experience in Siemens Gas Turbine SGT5-4000F (V94.3) & Siemens Steam turbine.
- 8 years of relevant mechanical work and supervision experience. Able to write reports in English fully literate in interface languages to workforce.
- Be familiar with the preventative maintenance programs and understand basic HVAC operation, Cooling tower, chillers, pumps and fan.
MECHANICAL SUPERVISOR
Role & responsibilities
- Supervising staff: Hiring, training, and evaluating staff, and ensuring adequate staff coverage
- Managing projects: Planning and scheduling work, and ensuring work is completed on time and to quality standards
- Maintaining equipment: Inspecting and testing equipment, and ensuring it's safe to operate
- Ensuring quality: Implementing quality and safety procedures, and ensuring production reliability
- Managing inventory: Maintaining adequate supplies and parts to repair equipment
- Working with engineers: Liaising with engineers to confirm work schedules, and working with mechanical planners to amend work instructions
- Preparing documentation: Preparing drawings for projects, and completing paperwork for master logs
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
