Sr. DevOps Engineer for Germany

 We are hiring Sr.DevOps Engineer-SRE (Site Reliability Engineering ) for a premium client in Germany.

This is onsite opportunity and location will be close to Munich in Germany.

As Senior DevOps Engineer (m/f/d) Reliability Engineering, you hold technical responsibility for the tool chain used to manage portfolio of Microservices and SW applications mandate comprises the technical implementation of DevOps principles (such as Continuous Integration / Deployment or Configuration Management) as well as the automation of tasks in the support and operations domain to ensure the reliability and availability of our toolchain and the Kubernetes-based target stages across all system levels. You will provide fixes for escalated support issues and coordinate project activities with internal and external stakeholders for deploying, maintaining and troubleshooting our different solutions. In addition, you will guide development teams on how to apply DevOps best practices in cloud-native environments.

• Min. 5 years experience in system management for cloud-based, customer facing applications, ideally with experience in the IoT domain
• Min. 3 years experience in system management for Kubernetes-based and highly available, distributed applications
• Outstanding expertise in deployment, integration, configuration management and fixing of issues for cloud-native technologies such as Kubernetes, Linkerd, Prometheus, Grafana
• University degree in business information technology, information systems, computer science or business with a focus on software/IT
• Strong understanding of implementation and maintenance of modern distributed development tool chains (eg. Gitlab, JIRA)
• Comfort with collaboration, open communication and reaching across functional borders
• Fluency in English and openness to travel internationally up to 20%.
