Post-: NDT Technician-(A)
Qualification: Secondary School Education. Graduate/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is preferred
Years of Experience: 3- 6 Years
Job Details-:
1.ASNT (or equivalent) Level-II certification in UT, PT and MT methods. Shall be proficient in ultrasonic shear wave examination.
2.Experience in MFL Testing of tank floor plates of storage tanks and heat exchanger tube inspection by Eddy current/MFL testing is desirable.
3.Proficiency in preparation/reading isometric drawing is essential.
4.Shall have 5years experience out of which 3years in refinery or petrochemical industry in independently carrying out NDT jobs.
5.NDT Technician- served for KNPC more than 8years may be considered as NDT Technician A (A) based on performance.
6.NDT Technician-A served for KNPC between 0-08 years shall be considered as NDT Technician A(B)
Post-: NDT Technician-(B)
Qualification: Secondary School Education. Graduate
Years of Experience: 3 - 6 Years
Job Details-:
1.ASNT (or equivalent) Level-II certification in ultrasonic examination using examination using straight beam probes
3.Proficiency in thickness gauging using ultrasonic digital thickness meter.
4.ASNT (or equivalent) Level-II Certification in MT and PT methods
5. 5years related experience out of which 3years in refinery or petrochemical industry. Prior work experience in KNPC is preferred.
Technician-C served for KNPC between 0-08 years shall be considered as NDT Technician-C
Post-: NDT Assistant
Years of Experience: 3 - 8 years experience
Job Details-:
Person having secondary school certificate. He should have sound physique capable of writing and communicating in English and work with the NDT Technicians/operators.
1.NDT Assistant served for KNPC more than 08 years may be considered as NDT assistant (A) based on performance.
2.NDT assistant served for KNPC between 0-8years shall be considered as NDT Assistant(B)
