- Minimum 3-7 years should have experience from ERW steel pipe industries
To lead the Shift of Operators to set up, operate and maintain the Tube Mill to produce consistent quality pipe.
Responsibility:
To report to the Senior Foreman and Tube Mill & Tooling Engineer.
Authority
To sign the Daily Project and maintenance Reports , Daily Check sheets and Preventive Maintenance reports
Main Tasks.
Lead & delegate the work of the Tube Mill Operators and ensure that they work safely and to the required standard
- Ensure that all Machine Reports for the Shift are completed correctly and submitted. Maintain the record of all the activities performed during the shift (settings, difficulties, breakdowns, machine condition etc...) in the Tube Mill Logbook and explain to the next Shift Foreman.
Allocation and utilization of Tube Mill Shift manpower as per the work schedule and superiors instructions.
Ensure that all Machines run on optimum settings as per previous record.
Ensure that Roll Changes are carried out efficiently and completed as scheduled.
Coordinate with other Plant Department regarding maintenance and breakdowns.
Implement safety regulations and maintain house keeping standards. Issue requisitions for Production materials
