  • Diploma in Mechanical or equivalent
  • 3 years experience in oil & gas warehouse operations. Candidate must be experienced in Oil & gas and drilling industry.
  • Inspects goods on receipt to verify that the correct types and amount of items are received and to ensure their quality and quantities and expiry date if applicable.
  • Thoroughly checks consignments against purchase orders to ensure the accuracy of orders and authenticity of provided documentation.
  • Checks that all certification, product information and manuals are received along with materials to ensure correct usage of products. Takes note of discrepancies of received consignment and report to the supervisor, buyer, supplier and freight forwarder for further action or return in a timely manner.
  • Ensure proper quality assurance and quality control checks are done as per policy and standards.
  • Ensure all goods in transit are recorded to account for their correct location while in transit.
  • Countersigns for all received goods for accountability.
  • Ensure receipt notes or rejection memos are recorded and distributed accordingly.
  • Organize and control the receipt, inspection, handling of goods in order to ensure timely and efficient receipt and distribution of goods to meet the demands of the operations.
  • Ensure that non-conformities are recorded for corrective actions to be taken
  • Liaise with end-user and concerned warehouse staff to obtain approval where Requester Acceptance Required (RAR) for materials or services.
  • Make sure the OEM & Vendor Reference data and information are recorded during the material inspections and reported to end-users and cataloguer for item master updating.
  • Follow up in a timely manner for rejected goods in a quarantine warehouse or a quarantine location to determine their disposition, such as scrap, use-as-is, rework, or return to vendor.
  • Oversee and control works executed by third party support at warehouse receiving and inspection areas and, on the system, and where applicable.
  • Excellent written and communication skill in English. Oracle material management (warehouse) module expert level, knowledge of materials/equipment used in oil & gas industry, undertaking of inspection and quality control in supply chain management.
  • Advanced computer skills on Oracle software and databases .
  • GULF Experience will be preferred
  • Age Group: 25 to 35 Years
