Roles and Responsibilities
- This role facilitates the projects for the company.
- The person has overall responsibility for the timely and cost efficient execution of all projects and programs.
- Understanding the companys overall strategy, he works for the specific global projects strategy for the company as well as the implementation plan. Build and develop the core competencies to drive growth.
- Process Engineering . Global Projects . CNC Machine Selection . Poka Yoke . TPM . TQM . Lean Manufacturing . Automation . Assembly Station Design . High Accuracy Grinding .
- Engage stakeholders in the company and contribute to the business growth of the company
- Develop and implement strategies that align the various teams and competencies available.
- Defines and continuously optimizes Projects, and all functional facets to meet the business goals.
- Implements and drives a continuous improvement program to improve the efficiency of the projects on the whole.
- Ability to work in a small/core team and co-ordinate larger CFTs and Train-Mentor-Help employees
- Trained in process excellence-six sigma and lean manufacturing.
- Tools & Consumable control . New Model testing program update . PPAP/ APQP Documentation . SQL server update . BOM & Routing . CP,PFMEA ,PFD . WI or SOP And documentation . PTR And PCN Follow-up New projects and new Development . Customer compliant analyses . POKA YOKE Implement . Machine commissioning and installation
- Hands on experience in precision engineering, equipments, VMC, HMC, hard metal machining, all areas of grinding, sub-assembly, assembly, and testing
- Must be efficient to handle all precision engineering environments with ease and accuracy.
Desired Candidate Profile
- At least 3+ years of experience in Projects, Operations and extensive exposure to the product lines.
- Program Management/New product launches->Design for manufacturability evaluation, Standardisation, Process Innovation and New technologies, Process optimisation and Prototype development.
- Equipment selection, evaluation and screening and proposal/budget preparation.
- Supplier identification, evaluation and development-Sourcing strategy and costing/estimation, Value stream optimisation and process documentation
- Preferably from Precision mass manufacturing engineering industry covering machining, grinding, honing, surface finishing and assembly operations
Qualification
Incumbent should ideally be Bachelor of Engineering/ Technology (Production/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering)
