HSE Officer for Winstar Electro Mechanical Works WLL (Qatar)

Experience: 3 to 4 yrs.  |  Opening(s): 5

Supervise the work of team comprising 4 technicians/supervisors, in terms of HSE
- Ensure the work is performed safely as per Alstom and customer EHS procedure Ensure customer EHS and site access procedures are followed by the team
- Impart safety awareness to team on daily basis
- Conduct routine tool box talks with the teams
- Report near misses and incidents, if any
- Keep record of all EHS documents/ procedures/ events
- Participate in EHS meetings/presentations to end clients

Should be a member of Institute of Occupational Safety and Health ( IOSH)
Should have experience in Electrical Sub Stations
Should have valid first aid and basic fire fighting certificate from recognized international institutes
Should have attended at least following trainings:
a. Job hazard analysis
b. Permit to work system
c. H2S and Breathing apparatus
d. Gas testing
e. Manual handling
f. Electrical Safety
g. Chemical handling
h. Incident reporting and investigations
i. Excavations
j. Lifting and Rigging
k. Working at height

Diploma in  Electrical/ Mechanical/ Chemical/ Civil Engineering
Nebosh International General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent training from internationally accredited institute
