AYTB (AL YUSR TOWNSEND & BOTTUM CO. LTD) is a leading diversified General Contracting Company requires skilled supervisory Manpower for one of the world largest Aluminium Company located in Saudi Arabia.
OVERALL JOB PURPOSE:
-To Supervise the shift to shift production operations in the area of responsibility to meet business plan targets within agreed budgets and contribute to the optimisation of performance.
-The principal challenge is to provide leadership in day-to-day activities that are aligned with departmental operating plans in the areas of production, safety & health, environment, cost, continuous improvement, quality, customer satisfaction and labour relations.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Operations
-Supervise the shift to shift production operations and maintenance of equipments to ensure that targeted quantities are produced to the required quality and cost parameters.
-Allocate tasks within the shift to make optimum use of labour available.
-Assist the pot line manager in the preparation of the overall plan of the section along with other supervisors.
-Accountable to ensure production schedules, manpower scheduling, and production equipment maintenance meet departmental objectives.
Safety & Environment Minimize lost time accident
-Ensure that all the works are carried out in compliance with relevant policies and procedures, monitor compliance and initiate corrective actions where necessary to eliminate non-compliances and to ensure safe working and minimise the adverse environment impact from the activities in the area of responsibilities.
-Manage assigned resources in compliance with EHS policies to assure that environment, health and safety are the first priority of the business.
-Lead and conduct key safety initiatives such as employee safety meetings and "toolbox" discussions, risk assessments, EHS audits, and environmental compliance monitoring, etc.
-Ensure that all his employees are well aware of safety hazardous in the job and Ma'aden policies on safety and fully aware of their job safe practice (JSP).
-Contribute to the process of creating enhanced safety awareness and changing behaviour to enhance safe working.
-Contribute to the review and update of procedures as necessary to ensure continuous improvement and to conform to local and international regulations and best practice.
People Management
-Supervise the shift working, motivation and development of shift staff and ensure that staffs works together as an effective team and area encouraged to maximize their capability and contribution.
-Address shift to shift performance/disciplinary in timely and decisive manner to ensure high levels of performance and contribution are mentioned.
Budgeting and Financial Management
Contribute to the development of the annual plan and associated budget for the department, monitor performance against this, for the area concerned recommending corrective actions where necessary to ensure operations in the area of responsibility are conducted within the agreed financial parameters.
Training and Development
Fostering learning and development competencies of others based on the needs analysis.
Participate in conducting training for subordinate in his area of responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
-The job holder requires being fully qualified on all operational areas within the responsibility of the shift and is likely to have a Technical Diploma certificate with a minimum of five years significant stretching experience in the area supervised with a good people management and influencing skills.
-Demonstrated PC skills are required, including: Excel, Word, Powerpoint, MS-Outlook.
