Pre Commissioning & Commissioning Manager for Abu Dhabi

    Our Client, a Multinational EPC Company constructing Oil & Gas Project at Abu Dhabi requires a qualified and experienced Pre-commissioning and Commissioning Manager for the above project work on contract basis.
    Role Purpose
    The Pre-commissioning/Commissioning Manager will be responsible for initial planning, establishing necessary procedures, documents, resource planning, client coordination, vendor coordination and execution of pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up and performance tests.
    Qualification, Experience & Skills Requirements
    Qualification requirements Bachelor Degree in related engineering field
    Minimum of 8 years broad experience in all phases of major Oil & Gas Projects, with a minimum of 5 years as a Commissioning Manager
    Experience with contractors, in particular involved in EPC of major Oil & Gas facilities
    Knowledge of relevant international codes and standards
    Knowledge of computer programs and general database organisation and design softwares
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    Excellent technical team and interpersonal skills

    Key Responsibilities
    Support contract development to ensure Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning (PC&C) activities are adequately covered in contract terms.
    Align subcontractors and client with regard to agreement on boundaries, roles, and responsibilities for PC&C activities.
    Identify resource requirements during each project and ensure recruitment and selection of qualified staff are adequate to meet those requirements.
    Lead systems completion database organization and design including definition of system and sub-system boundaries, creation of systems completions packages, population of testing requirements, and automatic status reporting for all.
    During detailed design and in close coordination with Home Office Engineering identify requirements for pre-commissioning and commissioning of modular systems to ensure minimization of testing requirements and optimization of testing at fabricated package units.
    Identify key interfaces between subcontractors, technical disciplines, or operating facilities and facilitate alignment between parties, including tie-ins between project phases and existing facilities.
    Review and assist with development of subcontractor and key suppliers testing and pre-comm/commissioning plans and ensure PC&C testing is adequate, does not miss key interfaces, and is documented properly and systematically, including required owner's test witnessing requirements.
    Lead review of spare parts requirements for PC&C phase.
    Liaise with client to ensure SIMOPS requirements for PC&C works are clearly understood by PC&C teams and that plans and schedules reflect SIMOPS restrictions for works.
    Liaise with client management to identify specialized training that may be performed during Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning works.
    Produce PMC and Commissioning status reports detailing progress and key issues which may need to be addressed to management to resolve.
    Prepare for ready for Start-up and performance tests.

    Duration About 6 months, may be extended

    Mobilisation - immediate

    Remuneration US $ 3000/- per month. To be paid by Promantec

    Working hours 12 hours per day, 6 days per week
