Senior Quantity Surveyor for Khatib & Alami in UAE

Exp: 7 - 14 yrs.

Primary Accountabilities:

- Perform a quantity take off from the detailed design drawings.
- Prepare budget cost estimate at the concept design stage of the project.
- Prepare a detailed priced mechanical BOQ, at various design stages of the project.
- Prepare Tender Analysis to compare the shortlisted Tenderers.
- Perform value engineering by studying the design of Civil & mechanical systems.
- Conduct a unit rate and cost analysis for the various Civil & mechanical system design options.
- Prepare and issue addenda during the tendering stage.
- Prepare BOQ for variation orders due to changes in scope of works of the project.
- Provide support to sites by addressing questions about BOQ.
- Liaise with contractors and suppliers to acquire and update particular item rates.
