- Business entity: Supply Chain Large Scale Services (SC LSS) is a business critical initiative comprised of standardized systems and technology that will enable enhanced commercial capabilities for Cisco. Supply Chain LSS will:
Build agility into the supply chain and make conducting business with Cisco easier for partners, customers and employees
Expand the companys reach into new geographies such as BRIC (Brazil, Russia, India, China) countries and other emerging markets
Accelerate time to market and allow for new business models (e.g., solutions, consumer, cloud)
Reduce the overall supply chain cost and infrastructure for Cisco and its contract manufacturing partners
Ensure a new level of business resiliency through a data center migration
The Team : The Program Management Office provides the governance framework for quarterly release execution, change management and User Acceptance testing. The candidate will become an integral part of this core team to execute the quarterly releases.
Responsibilities:
Independently drive all aspects of managing a program including the following: managing to timelines and deliverables, identify related programs across multiple organizations, delegate specific tasks, design communications plans, work with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), identify / gather metrics, and implement change management.
Regular communications with the cross programs to gather their requirements and feedback, and present program updates via project interviews, monthly written updates, monthly conference call status updates, etc.
Excellent organizational and excel skills are required
- Experience & Skills Required:
Bachelors Degree
6-7 years of experience and/ or a Masters Degree (Desired: Experience in supply chain management or project management)
The Project Manager will lead and execute quarterly releases as a part of transformation projects in Cisco Supply Chain.
This role involves taking end-to-end accountability for a quarterly release implementation including reviewing project deliverables and documents, meeting project/program Stage Gates, developing and implementing project charters and metrics, obtaining stakeholder alignment; identifying project risks and developing risk mitigation plans. Self-motivation, Self-discipline, creativity and a determination to reach goals and objectives with minimal management intervention and control.
Strong leadership, project management, influencing, negotiation and decision-making, coupled with sound judgment.
Ability to manage, within functional teams and across the organization, with Sr. leaders in multiple large and complex projects.
Creative and flexible, work effectively within a team, and function with heavy cross-functional engagement
Strong written, oral, interpersonal communications and presentation skills.
