- Keep track of stock levels, delivery times, transport costs, various duty, taxes, customs regulations in various countries, documentation for imports and exports in various countries.
Manage the entire order to goods receipt cycle so as to enhance business development and to fasten the cycle, reduce the cost.
To Co-ordinate with regional/local offices for follow up of shipments on regular basis with the freight forwarders. Timely delivery of shipments. Mange pre agreed time lines with each country, from each vendor for the entire group with each country logistics team.
Submission of timely MIS.
Monitor non-moving stocks across the region, planning how to move this in some other country where its required. Reducing dead/obsolete stocks.
Negotiation for better rates, better services with freight forwarders, clearing agents.
Handling logistics for projects case to case.
Able to manage vendor wise purchase projection, monthly, quarterly, yearly and track it.
Able to use the Microsoft Office.
Keeping accurate records.
- Age 26 to 36
Location -- Based in Kenya and must be willing to travel all over Africa.
Min 4 years of experience in photocopier industry of handling imports.
Must have effective communication skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks all with an attention to fine detail.
Must be numeric and be able to demonstrate an understanding of basic accountancy.
