HSE Officer

Maintain standards of HSE and comply with Companys Health, Safety & Environment.Management System requirements. Take reasonable care of ones own health and safety and that of others in the workplace. Follow and maintain Company standards of Quality in accordance with Company Quality System requirement.
Understand the requirements of project HSE Plan to ensure project HSE plan and company IMS HSE management system is implemented in daily work activities on site/ in the area of responsibility.
Perform HSE induction for all new employees in line with Company and Project site HSE rules and regulations in the language understood by them.
Assist Sr. HSEO in scheduling, arranging and delivering HSE / B2B training effectively to site employees to increase and maintain high level of HSE awareness
Prepare B2B HSE training record using training passport in combination with training stickers and attendance sheets independently and / or in co-ordination with other HSE staff.
Communication of HSE Policy, applicable legal requirements, HSE information and lessons learned time to time to all project personnel / in the area of responsibility.
Participate in / facilitate preparation, review and modifications of risk assessments as required; for all project activities, facilities including camp accommodation and transportation.
Assist Supervisors to complete accident / incident forms for on-site and off-site accidents related to project employees, vehicles.
Assist Sr. HSEO / conduct emergency drills for identified emergencies on project site as per required frequency.
Ensure waste is segregated, stored and disposed properly and log maintained.Perform inspection of fire detection and fire fighting equipments regularly and Report findings to concern in time for corrective actions.
Perform Level 1 HSE inspections as stated in project HSE Plan / corporate / regional HSE Site Inspection procedure and ensure senior management, level 2 and level 3 inspections are performed.
Monitor work area environment through the pro-active enforcement of HSE rules and regulations.

Diploma or Bachelors Degree preferably science / technical based discipline.
3 to 5 years related work experience including 1 to 2 years in similar size / nature
of projects.
HSE qualifications recognized locally or internationally e.g. OSHA, NEBOSH,
IOSH, Industrial Safety diploma governed by respective government organization.
Knowledge of OHSAS: 18001, ISO 14001
Computer literate proficient in MS Office, Power point etc.

HSE Supervisor
Organize and assign work to trade foreman/charge hands or new.Plan and report requirements for manpower, materials and equipment.
Co-ordinate works with other supervisors, contracts and subcontractors on a daily basis to minimize work interference.
Instruct personnel in good housekeeping and safety practices.
Maintain work rules and work force discipline.
Monitor and control progress of construction work within the schedule for the assigned area.
Maintain a properly detailed and accurate diary of the construction work
accomplished.
Organize and direct the work force to accomplish construction in an efficient, effective and safe manner.
Observe the subcontractors operations and record daily accomplishments, problems, and manpower and equipment usage.Take remedial action on shortcomings in coordination with the responsible Manager.
Measure performance and certify progress payment reports. Inspect materials and equipment as installed for compliance with contract plans and
specifications.
Ensure acceptable S/E ratio is maintained. Ensure installation is of a standard so as to avoid Quality and Safety violations.
Discuss and assess problems encountered by the staff on site. Assess need for additional and input of labour, supervision and equipment during the course of construction.
Ensure that methods of work are up to date, efficient and in accordance with company and client safety policies and Health and Safety requirements.
Ensure construction / installation keeps to budget / plan.Investigate and account for any deviations from budget Manhours.
Ensure exporting and control procedures are operated correctly on all site under your control.
Establish and maintain good relationships with clients set and example of loyalty, enthusiasm and hard work in the performance of all duties.
Ensure that work practices and installation meet required quality standards.
Ensure that you understand the extent of the subcontractors work and be fully Conversation same.
Familiarise yourself with the programme, planned hours, ratios material as per B.O.M and ensure that these parameters are met.
