Strong Linux OS Knowledge (Centos & Ubuntu, Redhat)
Experience with virtualization and containerization (e.g., VMware, Virtual Box, Proxmox)
Solid experience in the administration and performance tuning of application stacks (e.g.,Tomcat, JBoss, Apache)
Good scripting skills (e.g., shell scripts, Perl, Ruby, Python)
Experience with SQL and commonly deployed database systems, (Mysql, Postgresql, Oracle)
Should know how to configure & maintain DNS, DHCP, NTP, SMTP, SNMP, SSH
should know procedure to do OS updates, patches and configuration changes.
Experience & Good Knowledge of Linux firewalls, Checkpoint, ASA, Palo Alto, DLP, IDS/IPS web Application firewalls, Web proxies, Content filtering, DDoS Defense and switching and routing.
working practical knowledge of Switches, Routers & Access Points (Cisco, Microtik, HP)

Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools, Maintenance on Laptop, PC, Server
Recommend and perform upgrades on systems to ensure uptime.
Hands on Experience working with HP & DELL Servers.
Knowledge of Storage SAN, NAS, Isilon and IP Networking including distributed vSwitches, VLANs, VPNs, DNS, and Load-balancing.
Knowledge and experience in OpenLDAP or Karberos.
Business Continuity Planning and responding to Disaster Recovery events
Daily Incident Management responsibilities will include troubleshooting security device issues, documenting troubleshooting steps and providing status updates to management
Independently able to design and manage 40 + office network
