Patan College for Professional Studies (PCPS) is a constituent member of LBEF Group of Institutions (Lord Buddha Education Foundation). LBEF has a long standing history in the field of education and academics in Nepal, being established in 1998 as the first IT College in Nepal. More than 7000 students have over the years graduated from LBEF Group of Institutions and today, have established their career as bankers, IT experts, entrepreneurs, managers, leaders in their chosen area of work. Patan College offers B.Sc.(Computer Science & Software Engineering ) & BBA (Hons.) in partnership with University of Bedfordshire, UK

  1. Programme leader position will be responsible to ensure and monitor students progress in the program they choose to learn and also responsible to plan, schedule and conduct all the academic activities.
  2. To teach at undergraduate [B.Sc.IT / B.Sc.(Computer Science & Software Engineering] . Every Programme Leader has to take 12-18 hours of classes in a week. 
  3. To send following reports to Dean (Academics)- Academic Planner (at least 3 weeks in advance from the date of session commencement) , Course/Module Mapping, WAMS, DPR, DSAR, SoW Implementation Report, Course Completion Report, Class Conduction Report, Open House Session Reports/MoM, Student Feedback Report or Any other reports being asked to prepare
  4. To teach in a variety of settings from small group tutorials to large lectures, ensuring content, methods of delivery and learning materials meet the defined learning objectives for individual teaching sessions.
  5. To develop own teaching materials, methods and approaches taking into account established or agreed practices where necessary.

  1. To supervise the work of students, provide advice on study skills and help them with learning problems.
  2. To set and mark assignments and set examination questions as well as assessing the work and progress of students by reference to defined criteria and provide constructive feedback to students.
  3. To seek ways of improving performance by reflecting on teaching design and delivery and obtaining and analysing feedback.
  4. To supervise student projects under guidance and supervision
  5. To demonstrate good practice in teaching, learning and assessment through the use of a wide range of learning resources and appropriate pedagogic practice.
  6. To contribute to the wider student experience e.g. through personal tutoring, participation in recruitment , involvement in employability initiatives.
  7. To plan and manage own teaching and tutorials.
  8. To conduct workshops / seminar etc. 
  9. To do any other work assignment by Dean Academics
