- Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of cost estimates, bills of quantities and tender documents.
- Negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain the best prices and terms.
- Managing project budgets, including forecasting and monitoring costs.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation of all project-related costs and financial transactions.
- Provide expert advice on procurement, risk management and cost-saving measures.
- Prepare pricing sheets after receiving the drawings.
- Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Experience:
Minimum 8 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the Civil and Mechanical sectors. - Hands-on experience in managing project costs for large-scale construction and mechanical projects.
- Experience in preparing and managing cost estimates, tender documents, and contract negotiations.
- Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of construction practices, mechanical systems, and industry standards. - Proficient in using Quantity Surveying software and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).

Planning Manager
Project Control Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Control Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and performance monitoring for large-scale projects. This role is responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with the required quality standards. The Project Control Manager will work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to implement effective project controls systems and processes that enable project success.
Role & responsibilities
1. Coordinate & manage the projects control resources required to deliver project successfully and cost effectively.
2. Progress and Risks reporting including schedule updates, forecast to complete, variance identification and opportunities for improvement etc.
3. Development & Management of the Project Budget, cost control team & technics
4. Support Project in control management including baseline schedule development and management, performance status and reporting, baseline change control, risk management, earned value management etc.
5. Responsible for proper reporting to management of projects progress, risks, variation trends, spending plans etc.
6. Advice and consult on the application of effective planning techniques and controls along with creation, management, and optimization of formats / project controls best practices.
7. Procurement monitoring, inventory monitoring .
8. Project Audits
9. Identify contractual obligations, document submission requirements and project risks etc. followed by inform/advise concerned levels of management.
10. Other duties advised by management
Preferred candidate profile
Qualifications:
- Education:
Bachelors degree in any dicsiplin , or a related field. - PMP, PgMP, or similar certification preferred.
- Experience:
Minimum 10-12 years of experience in project controls, with at least 5 years in a managerial role. - Proven experience in managing large, complex projects (construction, engineering, or oil & gas sectors preferred).
- Strong expertise in scheduling, cost control, and project performance monitoring.
- Skills and Competencies:
Advanced proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project, etc.). - Strong understanding of earned value management (EVM) principles and other project control techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Other Requirements:
Detail-oriented with a high level of organizational skills. - Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Costing Engineer to join our ABU DHABI based client. The Costing Engineer will be responsible for the accurate estimation, budgeting, and financial control of engineering projects, ensuring that costs are well-managed and projects are completed within financial parameters. This position requires a strong understanding of cost analysis, procurement processes, and financial reporting, as well as the ability to work closely with both project managers and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare Budget and issue to Project Sites
- Responsible to Co-ordinate with projects in tracking the expenses/ Cost head
- Generate Job Cost Reports on a Monthly Basis
- Prepare cash flow charts etc.
- Project baseline change control, Cost risk management, earned value management, etc.
- Co-ordinate with project sites to receive updates on the cash flows
- Keep PCD informed on the Cost and Cash Flow status of all projects on a regular basis, including the Areas of Concern
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Experience:
- 10 years of experience in cost estimation, project costing, or financial control in the construction or engineering industry.
- Familiarity with cost estimation software or ERP systems is a plus (e.g., SAP, Procore, CostX, or similar).
