Our Client based in Qatar is looking for Supervisor - Firefighting:-
JD :- To ensure that the works are undertaken in accordance with the working drawings and project specifications.
Co-ordinate the works with the main and other sub contractors at site.
Ensure all works are completed on time, in accordance with the target production rates.
Deliver the works at the prescribed quality standards.
Eliminate reportable accidents at site.

Manage and supervise a team / teams of pipe fitters staff undertaking fire protection installation at site.
Ensure that all information is available to undertake the works.
Ensure materials are available to undertake the works.
Ensure all materials are installed without damage and protected once installed.
Arrange the required tools and equipment for the site staff.
Control of the quality of the installation in accordance with the project quality assurance plan.
Ensure that the works are carried out in a safe manner in accordance with the project safety plan.

Monitor the productivity of the site staff in accordance with the targets set.
Instruct the tradesmen on the works required and method of execution.
Ensures that the works are tested in accordance with the inspection and test plan and the tests witnessed by the engineer.

Provide training, guidance and motivation to the site staff
Knowledge of the installation of fire fighting systems for major commercial and light industrial buildings. The systems would include: Sprinkler, wet riser, dry riser, foam extinguishing, and gas extinguishing systems.
Detailed practical knowledge of the installation of fire fighting systems including: Water tanks, pumping equipment, welded, victaulic and screwed steel pipe work.
Man management skills to lead a team of fire protection site staff.
Ability to communicate effectively in English and the Indian sub continent languages both orally and in writing.
Knowledge of International, Dubai and Abu Dhabi regulations and codes of practice.
Ability to read and understand drawings and specifications.
An active personality, able to interact freely with his peers.
Knowledge of safety regulations.
High personal quality standards.
Fluent in written and spoken English and the Indian subcontinent languages
