CERTIFICATION / REGISTRATION Must be Registered with as a Fire Fighting Engineer with the recognized Institute like NFPA, having passed a professional exam and be registered in the Institute of Fire Protection Engineers.
JOB DESCRIPTION Design and review of all types of Fire & Life Safety Systems, Preparation of Fire & Life Safety Strategy reports, Inspection and certification of all types of installations. Detail engineering design of fire detection and protection systems (including Hydraulic calculations, flow calculation, battery calculation) as per NFPA & international standards.
ARAMCO Requirement:
All fire water systems shall be designed and installed under the supervision of a
registered professional engineer in the specialty of fire protection engineering
with at least five years of experience in the design of fire water systems.
Design drawings and hydraulic calculations shall be submitted according to
Saudi Aramco procedures for plant and equipment submittals
EXPERIENCE Minimum of Five (5) years experience in the Fire water system design for the plant, such as refinery, petro-chemical, and power plant, etc. NOT building, housing or firefighting equipment company such as alarm, foam, sprinkler, etc. Previous Saudi ARAMCO (Approved candidates) will be highly preferred.
