Group GM - Finance for Retail Stores in Fiji

    Set up transactional services, accounting and treasury functions.

    Establish strong financial controls in accordance with best practices.

    Develop and implement organizational financial goals.

    Oversee capital investments and manage associate risks.

    Supervise cash management activities.

    Prepare monthly financial statements and other management reports/ analysis to support decision-making.

    Establish and manage annual budgeting process and present to the Board.

    Develop and monitor policies and procedures within generally accepted accounting principles and corporate guidelines.

    Review monthly operating reports for accuracy, completeness and major variances between actual, forecast and budget results.

    Have comprehensive knowledge of risk management methodology and ability to formulate, implement and manage risk management strategies and policies.

    Supervising and motivating Finance Team.

    Other duties and responsibilities as delegated by Managing Director and the Board.
      Professional accounting and finance qualifications.

      Member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or other reputable
      professional institute.

      Minimum of 10 years of broad based financial and or accounting experience with minimum 5 years in senior managerial finance position.

      Retail experience in companies with multiple retail outlets will be an added advantage.

      Strong analytical problem solving and decision making skills.

      Ability to build and develop sound business plans to achieve long and short term objectives;

      IT skills, especially with accounting software and spreadsheets.

      Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
