Operations Manager for Taleb Group, Qatar

JOB PURPOSE 

The Operations Manager is responsible for both sales and operations of the rental and outsourcing product line of Man Lifting/heavy equipments . Provide front line contact with prospects, manage a large fleet of vehicles, match vehicle availability with customer, and be responsible in all aspects of customers account. Will have full operational and P&L responsibility for the respective division with direct oversight of rental, parts and service of all equipment and support personnel.

• Candidate having Business Development/Rental/Sales experience of 9 years in heavy equipments (man lifting/cherry picker, construction equipments, earth moving equipments etc.)
• Source new clients & maintain good relations with existing clients
• Responsible for the day to day management of Equipment rental and outsourcing, Maintenance (Shop/Facilities/Mechanics)
• Draft contracts and follow up on payments from the clients
• Locate equipments needed for rentals and outsourcing
• To plan to meet the monthly set business target
• Identify and acquire new business to achieve targets
• Manage key customer accounts for ensuring smooth flow of business and to explore new business areas
• Manages sales and expenses by presenting a clear business plan at the beginning of each month in order to maximize marketing and Rental Business Development effort
• Reviews all contracts raised (i.e. creations, amendments, suspensions and terminations) daily; reviews debt collection efforts (calls and/or visits made)
• Manages inventory by assessing the need to purchase/dispose/replace equipment
• Performs daily/weekly company vehicle inspection
• Addresses client complaints and resolves problems

• Completion of a bachelors degree in Marketing & Sales.
• Minimum three (9) years work experience after graduation, preferably in a heavy equipment rental company.
• Gulf Experience preferred
• Arabic speakers preferred
• Job Location is DOHA - QATAR

• Close rental deals from inbound inquiries and out bound telemarketing calls
