Roles and Responsibilities
- Must have BE/B.Tech in Mechanical/Electrical
- Should have total 8+ years of experience & minimum 4 years experience in Diesel Based Power Plant
- Operation & Maintenance of Gas, Diesel engines, Turbocharger, Compressors, Separators, Heat exchanger and pumps.
- Preventative & breakdown maintenance of Diesel Engines & its Auxiliaries
- Verification of Daily Generation Reports
- Preparation of Monthly Generation, Yearly Generation Reports, Annual Operation & Maintenance Plans
- Engine Condition Monitoring & Evaluation [through WOTS system]
- Trending & Analysis of Engines Outages
- Maintenance Management [Spares Planning / Monthly Maintenance Plan
- Preparation of Incident reports for major plant problems
- Working with Permit to Work systems
- Standardization & development of plant documentation
- Technical Incident report preparation & making Root cause analysis for problems
- Maintaining history of equipments [Outages / Availability / Reliability]
- Effective utilization of man power
- Maintaining contract commitments / outage management
- Implement of MTBF
- Preparing Technical Training Modules
- Trouble shooting of DG sets and its related auxiliaries.
- Executing individually major overhauls of engines, turbochargers and separators.
- Preventive and Periodical maintenance of DG sets and its related auxiliaries.
- Preparing and Projecting of annual operation and maintenance plans.
- Planning, procurement and forecasting of all spares and consumables.
- Issue daily work schedule/resource allocation as well as plans.
- Maintain and ensure the standards applicable.
- Tracking the cost of maintenance activities.
Desired Candidate Profile
Should be a BE/B.Tech in Electrical/Mechanical Degree holder
Must have 8+ years over all experience out of which 4+ years should be in Operation & Maintenance of Diesel Power plant
