Junior English Teacher for Imperial World School, Nepal

Roles and Responsibilities

a) Carry out duties in all internal and external work as assigned by the Principal/HODs.

b) Ensure the smooth running of classes and assessments under the guidance of the Principal.

c) Maintain and closely monitor the attendance of students both in class, outdoor activities and in laboratories.

d) Prepare and submit monthly syllabus coverage reports.

e) Manage and implement entrance examinations and block wise examinations.

f) Organize and conduct extra-curricular activities under the guidance of the Principal/HODs.

g) Evaluate the answer papers and submit results within the deadline.

h) Regularly update the Principal / HODs on all academic issues and seek advice on any issues which need their intervention before taking action.

i) Participate in the development, implementation and maintenance of academic quality assurance and arrangement.

j) Act and always conduct in manner befitting the IWS.

Desired Candidate Profile

Must have a genuine interest to be a teacher.

Must have a Bachelor's degree, preferably Master degree in a relevant field

Must be a good team player.

Must have at least 2 years of teaching experience in a progressive school

Must have a good command in written and spoken English

Must have a good knowledge of the subject matter

Must be ready to learn at any time for his/her professional development
