Georgie &Lou co.ltd is searching for an IT support officer who will be primarily responsible for providing technical assistance to computer system users, including installation and configuration of computer systems, diagnosis of hardware/software faults, assistance to the users in case of all technical and applications problems, either remotely or in person.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to users for all computer hardware, software and associated peripherals;
- Install and configure computer hardware, operating systems and applications;
- Monitor and perform routine maintenance of computer systems to ensure optimum system and user performance;
- Troubleshoot systems to diagnose and solve hardware/software faults;
- Replace computer parts as required,fix equipment, including printers and scanners;
- Test and evaluating new applications and technology;
- Develop training materials and procedures, and/or train users in the proper use of hardware and software;
- Record problems and their solutions for future reference;
- Assist in the compilation and maintenance of an accurate inventory of hardware and software.
Requirements

- Experience troubleshooting Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7
- Fundamentals of networking and file-sharing

- Experience with Crystal Reports is a plus
- Excellent written and conversational English
- Good communication skills and a structured approach to problem-solving
- Ability to assist users remotely and explain problems and solutions clearly to non-technical users
- Bachelor in Computer Science related field, or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of VB is a plus
