Maintenance Superintendent
Project Capacity:Four (4) Alstom GT13E2 heavy duty Gas Turbine Generators (GTGs) in Open Cycle Power Plant (OCPP).
Job Description
Coordinate and execute with the help of his staff/personnel all the
Maintenance activities.
Duties:
- Ensure that the Operative Maintenance staff is functioning under an optimized operational organisation e.g.: available manpower, budget, machineries, equipment, tools.
- Responsible and coordination of the main maintenance disciplines: mechanical, electrical, instrument supported by the Planning Engineer. Responsible for all the maintenance activities performed on site, reliabilities of the plant including all the equipment, machinery, etc. and their technical performance.
- Coordination of scope of work and during the execution phase of modification / improvement required.
- Responsible for the optimisation of the maintenance cost and issuance of the yearly maintenance budget.
- Responsible as performing authority of all the relevant activities performed by Maintenance team.
Experiences / Skills
- Fluent English language.
- Bachelor in industrial engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or equivalent). Not less than 10 years as discipline supervisor or coordinator in power generation plants (gas turbines).
- Acquainted with the international regulation and standard.
- Familiar with maintenance methodology and working method, maintenance optimization and offshore/offshore oil and gas industry safety procedures
Operations Superintendent

JobDescription
Assumes a role of a duty shift leader. Bears responsibility for appropriate and continuous power production according to operating procedures and equipment operating manuals. Performs operational management to the personnel on duty. Assures interaction with interfacing divisions and departments. Reports directly to Plant Manager.
Duties
Prepare labor layouts (work schedules).
Understand the direction, policy and goals of the COMPANY. Achievement of assigned Key Performance Indicators.
Motivate crew members to achieve their full potential through teaching and training on equipment, process, safety, quality, customer and environmental issues.
Maintains high work environment standards in terms of safety, housekeeping and team work in the areas of workers.
Manages, develops, trains, coaches and evaluates the members of the operating team.
Must adhere to all COMPANY's policies and safety rules and assure that
all COMPANY's work rules are carried out.
Operate powerplant and ensure that is running with in the optimum levels. Oversee start-up and maintenance of power generators and other electrical
equipment.
Keeping Plant Superintendent informed of progress.
Experiences/Skills
High Engineering / Technical Degree.
Fluent in English (Arabic is desirable).
Minimum 10 years of experience in Oil & Gas Industry and minimum 5 years as Operations Coordinator in Gas Turbine Power Plant.
Good computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Word and ability to learn control system software.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to organize,manage, and control workflow.
Knowledge of risk management and safety requirements.
Knowledge and understanding of the management, maintenance and control of plant operations.
Excellent written and oral communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
Project Duration: 2 Years
