a) Highers/BTech National Diploma or equivalent
b) Basic capability in the use of P6/ Proficient in the use of P6 and MSP
c) PCA or 2 years minimum experience within a manufacturing, workshop or site installation based environment
d) P102 P6 Fundamentals & P106 P6 Advance
e) Detailed knowledge and ability to operate Project Planning packages and including EVM
f) The Planner is to provide planning assistance to the Senior Project Planning service for nominated project including:
g) Engage with the leads/managers of engineering, procurement and construction to obtain deliverables based schedules and integrate them with the Project Schedule.
h) In association with the Project Cost Controller, Project Manager and the Project Control Manager develop a robust Cost Breakdown Structure to facilitate an Earned Value Analysis approach.
i) Assist with review all appropriate engineering, procurement, manufacturing and site construction level 3 project schedules and prepare variance reports for the Project Control Manager and or Project Director's attention for any variance from agreed level 2 schedule.

k) Assist in the collation of data and the compilation of weekly and monthly management reports.
l) Recognize the impact risks & opportunities will have on the Estimate at Completion date.
m) Update monthly progress on the client project level 1/2 schedules.
n) Maintaining good communications and relations with other project function groups.
o) Ensure that well-defined, complete project programmes are produced and maintained in association with all project team members
p) Early warning awareness to Project Senior Planner/Project Control Manager of any variance from agreed schedule.
