Job Description / Responsibilities


  • Understanding of segment reporting/branch performance reporting to HO,
  • Overall management of accounting related activities branches,
  • Accurate and timely punching of revenue into the system,
  • Timely submission of invoices to customers,
  • Vendor payments and credit management,
  • Review of purchase orders,
  • Conduct monthly/annual stock takes at different operational locations,
  • Monthly stock reconciliation of each branch,
  • Cash Sale reconciliation with bank deposits,
  • Maintain branch wise petty cash,
  • Identify and resolve the ERP issues relating Data Entry and reports
  • Compile the LC record and prepare LC cost sheets
  • Prepare LC per unit cost comparison with the previous order before opening LC
  • Maintain log books and check fuel bills of all vehicles
  • Bank dealings,
  • With support from HO, formulating annual/monthly budget, conducting variance analysis, reporting and implementing corrective actions,
  • Follow up for collections and maintain adequate liquidity to support operations,
  • Review of monthly petty cash including daily cash purchases & expenses for operations before submission for reimbursement
  • Coordinating with IT & ERP support personnel for resolving issues and broadening its utilization
  • Controls of assets/material transfer from/to operational site
  • Execute annual physical fixed asset count
  • Document controller for various agreements/legal/financial
  • Inter division reconciliation
  • Liaise with External and Internal auditors
  • Reconciliation of Customers account with their books,

Qualification:

Qualified/Part Qualified CA/ACCA/CPA, and B.com/M.Com/MBA Finance from reputable recognized institution,


Required Skill Set:

Sound understanding of ERP, Microsoft word, excel, power point, spreadsheets.


Specialist:

Strong grip on International Accounting & Auditing Standards, Budgeting & forecasting, monitoring of branch operations follow up for debt collection, accounting, financial analysis,


Experience:

Deputy Accounts Manager



Job Description / Responsibilities


  • In depth knowledge of IAS, IFRS, Corporate Law and Taxation,
  • Consolidation of group financial results on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis,
  • Identifying areas for cost cutting and improvement,
  • Financial budgeting and forecasting, financial reporting and financial analysis skills,
  • Ensuring that all financial controls (standard controls as well as established in line with internal audit department) for different business processes are met and adhered to at all times,
  • Coordinate with external auditors to ensure compliance,
  • Meet accounting and financial objectives by formulating annual/monthly budget with the support of respective managers, conducting variance analysis, reporting and implementing corrective actions,
  • Scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, initiating corrective actions,
  • Ensure recording of accurate transactions in GL and hard closure of monthly posting in the ERP system,
  • Coordination with insurance provider for timely settlement of claims,

Senior Internal Auditor






Job Description / Responsibilities


Reporting to Group Internal Audit Manager.

To conduct assigned internal audits within the Hamdan Trading Group (HTG) businesses in order to provide assurance on the adequacy, appropriateness and effectiveness of the internal control environment and risk management framework. Conduct Audits and analyses on a variety of Operational & Accounting transactions at assigned audit location. Assists in the preparation of Risk based Audit Plans.


Plan Internal Audit Assignments-

  • Quality and timeliness KPIs relating to Audit assignment
  • Engage with business to gain clear understanding of the control environment under review and any
  • Quality and relevance of audit assignment planning including links to concerns they may have major business and regulatory changes, alignment with major risks
  • Develop audit scope and objectives for each review and stakeholder concerns
  • Clearance of audit scope and objectives with management
  • Gain understanding of business and technical environment to enable identification of key risks to be reviewed during each review
  • Developing detailed fieldwork plans and time budgets for each review


Execute Internal Audit Assignments-

  • Perform audit fieldwork to assess the adequacy of control environments, risk management and control
  • Timely completion of annual audit plan, information and communication, and monitoring in the areas under review
  • Quality of audit documentations
  • Document fieldwork results and conclusions
  • Quality and relevance of audit issues raised and agreed
  • Identify emerging issues for consideration in reporting management actions.
  • Flag potentially serious issues to audit and business management as they emerge.
  • Conduct audit closing meeting with management to agree audit findings.


Reporting Internal Audit Reviews-

  • Quality and timeliness of draft audit reports
  • Drafting audit reports for review by audit and business management.
  • Timely identification/escalation of potential issues
  • Agree management action plans and target dates
  • Quality and timeliness of management action plan monitoring.
  • Ensure all reported issues are evidenced in audit documentation.


Monitoring Management Action Plans-

  • Monitor progress of assigned management actions plans resulting from audit reviews.
  • Quality and timeliness of action plan status updates
  • Where appropriate, contribute updates on management actions to Internal Audit Managers monthly report to Executive Management.


Develop and Maintain Strong Business Understanding-

  • Proactive involvement in major business change initiatives
  • Develop and maintain a good awareness and understanding of key business, finance, regulatory activities and risks
  • Develop and maintain an awareness of significant developments within the financial services industry Internal Audit Standards and Best Practice-
  • Compliance with HTG & Internal Audit Policies & Procedures and The IIA standards
  • Develop and maintain strong understanding of IA process and procedures and apply these in the manual requirements execution of audit reviews.
  • Own training and personal development plans.
  • Develop and maintain good understanding of internal audit standards and best practice.

Qualification Qualification:

Bachelor of Commerce (Commerce) / B.Com, CA Inter(Chartered Accountant) / Inter C.A. / Chartered Accountant (Chartered Accountant) / CA, Institute of Cost & Works Accountants (Cost & Works Accountant) /ICWA / CMA, CPA, CIA & CISA


Required Skill Set:

Strong knowledge of Internal Audit in commercial industry
